It certainly is fascinating how many with fewer than 10 posts (and especially with less than a month membership) manage to find themselves to and around in the forum to nominate their annual "favorites." :D

Actually, unless they submitted a story in 2009, they cannot nominate anyone. Alas, I didn't submit any stories in 2009, so I can't nominate you for writing those wonderful gay, I mean, bi-sexual stories.

This place is crawling with alts. The same thing happened with Igor's My Story board at Voyeurweb. People had so many alts that they had to shut it down because alts were arguing between themselves, as they do here on the forum boards.

Are you aware that is an Alt of BOSTONFICTIONWRITER?

Hey, Pedo, I don't have any alts, unless you count Scouries, TxRad, Srplt71, and yourself, Asslicker. I'm just me.

You must have me confused with someone else.

...and leave the children alone. They are not your grand kids. People are looking at you funny.

Can you say...sex offenders' list?

Yes, well you're known to be SO truthful and honest. :D

Thank you. You brought a tear to my eye. My close friends call me...George, after George Washington because I can't tell a lie.

It's not easy being the only person on this board, besides yourself, Habu, without having an alternate personality. Yep, it's only me, Bostonfictionwriter, a writer of fiction about Boston.

Well, my work isn't done here. I need to uncover more lies. I finally figured out who it is behind Scouries thread and I just exposed that little game. Now, I can move on with revealing the Survivor Contest winner to see who that really is.

Um, no, Freddie. It's READER'S CHOICE. So regardless if you've submitted a story in 2009 or not, you can nominate someone. However, if the person they nominated hasn't submitted any stories, that nomination is essentially moot.

Ah, thank you for the clarification. I misread what Laurel wrote. I thought she changed the ruling from last year. It's a pity. A nomination would have been worth more coming from real writers instead of coming from writers's alts.

That's exactly what happened last year. It's not the one who writes the best story or who is the best writer around here, it's the one with the most alts and the most "friends".

It's gratifying to know that some things stay the same and nothing ever changes...I guess.

Happy New Year, Michchick

So I might surmise you are talking at yours truly since the dude who nominated me only has 1 post and you posted right after he did.

He is somebody I met over at LustyLibrary and sent over here, as I have done many times from a variety of other sites.

The same user name has 830 forum posts and 33 story comments at LustyLibrary. Read a few of them and it might make you think he is not me. Or maybe not.

After all, it appears you believe you are kitty litter.

Well, sure. You what? Sent him one of your famous photos to come over here, and in being here for only a couple of weeks, he decided you were the cat's pajamas in relationship to anyone else posting stories here this year? You're right up there BFW in the honesty department, hon. :D

But that's OK. You all have made the "contest" into a real joke anyway--just like other parts of the forum.

I nominate...Sarahhh as the most influential writer.

She gets so many comments. How does she do that?

Well, as far as I'm concerned, anyone who can receive that many comments is influencing a lot of readers.

Good job, Sarahhh. Congratulations.

I nominate Sarahhh, too, not only because she receives a lot of comments but also because she's pretty and has great tahhh tahhhs.

I'm nominating myself of course. I am the master of self promotion. I realize this is only worth half a point of nomination points? But...here you go!

I nominate Sarahhh.

She receives a lot of comments and votes and anyone who can command the attention of a reader for them not only to vote for her but also to comment, is a great writer.

Her stories have not only influenced others to read but also to write.

Yes, well you're known to be SO truthful and honest. :D

I just realized. As is TxRad, you're one of Scouries alts, aren't you? I should have known.

Gees, the man has sock puppets everywhere.

Tell me, come clean, what do you know about George Bush?

He's pulling all the strings. Am I right?

Ah, what do you know? You're just a puppet on a string. I'd get more information talking to myself than to you.

RedEmerald

Okay.. I don't know if this is real but I'd like to nominate RedEmerald, I loved all her stories. It's my first time nominating for someone.

Thanks!

well, in any case, I think I'm safe from nomination. I have no alts and no real friends around here.

Having read through this whole thread. I thought it prudent to adress this before proceeding to my nomination I have never been on this discussion board before and in all honesty I doubt I ever will again. However I still have clocked up a huge amount of time reading a lot of the stories on the site, under many different categories, and hence why I created the account today so I could contribute in a small way to someone who I believe deserves credit.

With that out of the way, I found it very difficult to choose who to nominate for this. A number of people crossed my mind such as DG Hear, PennLady, Cat5 but in the end I decided to go for Moogplayer

Moog for me has had a very good year. He is in my opinion one of the most underated authors on this site and 2009 has seen him live up to his high esteem in my eyes. He has managed to produce consistent top quality stories whilst at the same time finishing a number of books for his publishing company (at least according to his profile and I see no reason for him to lie.) His stories are always of the highest writing quality and the depth to which he develops his characters appeals to me greatly. Yet he does not overdo the length of his work. I find myself often being happy / sad / even crying at what his stories contain and I like the way I am always drawn to feeling for his characters.

I would certainly recommend his work and he has certainly, at least in my opinion, had a huge influence on the romance category this year.

With that out of the way, I am going back to the main site, to do what I seemingly do best. Lurk.

Yeah I am new to the sight but Sarahhh has A writing style that I really enjoy...I have not SEEN any of her *SPECIAL* pictures but now you have my curiosity up...To me it sounds as if your a little jealous...

Her special pictures were in promise of votes among other things. But then he only sent pictures of one tit and it wasn't even his picture. So the legend of the Unitit was born. It was good for a few laughs back a number of years ago. It's also when Sarahhh started blaming all her troubles on the AH and a select number of people.

So there is no jealousy. There's nothing to be jealous about. Sarahh and his alter ego Scouries are a standing joke in several forums.

I posted on some of those threads you allude to several years back. You did not post on those threads, at least not under the name TxRad.

My recollection of what went down back then is considerably different than yours. In fact, Sarahhh's issues then were much the same as scouries' issues of more recent times.

Oh, and I nominate Sarahhh as Most Influential Writer, for obvious reasons.

Yeah Sarahhh, you do that.

I was hoping that this was going to be taken a little more serious this year but I see it is the same old CRAP, i'm out of here.

Hey honey, don't pay any attention to TxRad (aka TampaxRad) or sr71plt (aka Acehole). TampaxRad is a psycho-bitch drama queen (and I mean complete with a vagina), and Acehole is a wannabe (no vagina, and not much of a dick either) psycho-bitch drama queen.

As I recall, you were reading my stories over at LustyLibrary and sent me some private messages saying you were digging my stories. I sent you to this site for some stories that weren't over there. So somehow you found this thread and nominated me for Most Influential Writer. So they make you out to be stooopid or or worse (an alt). Business as usual for the bad guys. The good guys are me and scouries and BOSTONFICTIONWRITER and PositiveThinker, in case you haven't figured that out yet (Hey, and check out their stories once you have read all of mine!)

While I really appreciate your nomination for Most Influential Writer, and those of the others, I must respectfully decline those nominations. You see, I do not want to be associated in any way with recent past winners of Most Influential Writer.

I hereby nominate PositiveThinker for Most Influential Writer, and I can only suggest you do the same. Not only does he deserve the award, but he has a positive outlook on most everything, including dancing with psycho-bitch drama queens.

Wow! I don't know what to say.

"They like me. They really like me!"

I'd like to thank my mother. Oh, and my dog, Polo. I couldn't have written all these stories, especially all the ones that they disqualified to cheat me out of, yet, another Survivor Contest.

And I'd like to thank Laurel and Manu for having such a great site.

Also, I'd like to thank Sarahhh for looking the way she does. Isn't she gorgeous? Seriously. Oh, my God, what a body and a big brain behind it, too.

Lastly, I'd like to give a shout out to all the brave men and women overseas. Let's bring them all home.
