The 2026 [lit] 750 Word Project Support Thread

My first submission was scheduled out to 2/1 like it was part of the project, but it didn't get either of the tags added. I left two spots open, so it wasn't an issue with the tag limit. Looking at a few linked above, I noticed one had no tags, one had a single tag (which hit the 10 tag limit), and one had both tags I expected. Granted, @Djmac1031 and @MillleDynamite might have added them manually.

So, is there any way to tell if my story is actually on the list?

February Sucks Less (in 750 Words)

My next one is scheduled for tomorrow, so I'm anxious to see if it gets tagged.

You should put the tags in yourself. But doing it now will cost you a recheck. You can tell what tags you have by looking at the tags when it is posted or by going in and seeing what tags are there on the one that isn't posted. But if you put the 750-word event in the notes to moderator, it should be in the list.

Damn it, still not writing.

I did put it in the Notes to Admin, and it was scheduled for 2/1 instead of a closer date, so I thought all was good. I've never had to add the project specific tags, and I don't recall seeing any mention of needing to do so. I'll have to go back and reread the rules…

My 750 words story which is also entered in the Valentine's Day contest and the Pink Orchid project was approved in less than 3 hours and will go live tomorrow

Dang it, it does say to add a tag manually.

And my retelling of Aphrodite and the Cat is submitted! I submitted it as non-erotic, even though it's REALLY more of a romance, because of how the story is told and because last year I submitted my entry as non-erotic, so I figure that I might as well do it for this one too

All right, just submitted! Totally forgot I hadn't already done that :cautious:

And now, we wait.
Nice! I'm playing the patient game because I wrote a SECOND piece for it as well! I was inspired. I just need to wait until the first one is no longer "new" to post it so I don't take view away from myself
