What happens if you press on it? Does it blanch then go back to the pink color? If so, how quickly? Does it hurt at all? See your PCP but consider a Dermatology consult, too.I have a large pink spot on my hip for several months. It doesn't ooze, crack, spread, or change color. I mostly forget it's there until I see it in a mirror. But sometimes I think maybe I should have it checked. It could be something serious like a precancerous condition. A medical appointment to check a spot I mostly forget and ignore would be annoying, but maybe less annoying than it would be next year with my next healthcare plan with a $10 copay.
