Same here too!
Replace "Pesky" with any of the stock standard four letter words, and you're getting closer!Pesky clouds.
No. That is completely on the table.Does this mean pineapple on pizza is also not to be discussed?
Right there, brother.I agree. We are bombarded by online and over the airways by politics and breaking news. It’s nice to have a news and politics free zone to share our life experiences, sports, memories of good old days etc. Let’s work hard to keep it this way.

Well I will agree with you about fishOh we can talk about that.....no fruit no fish....and no green bell peppers...yuvk
Anchovies is one of the worst things you can put on pizza. Maybe worse than pineapple!Well I will agree with you about fish
I like fruit, but not really in salads. Occasionally strawberry or blueberry is OK.More seriously what do people think about fruit in salad. Today will be strawberries and raspberries but usually it’s cut up apple. Always raisins and almonds.
This is more getting a feel for what other people like. I’m genuinely curious. So with you on anchovies.Anchovies is one of the worst things you can put on pizza. Maybe worse than pineapple!

I mostly like just veggies and salads.
But you do you and make the salad the way you want!
I think it can add some yummy sweetness in the right salads.More seriously what do people think about fruit in salad. Today will be strawberries and raspberries but usually it’s cut up apple. Always raisins and almonds.
I knew folks who always ordered pineapple on their pizza.No. That is completely on the table.
Literally.
Although it’s a sin. Everyone knows that pineapple and pizza do not mix.
Tomatoes are poisonous. Anyone that ate one before the year 1900 is dead. Proof positive.Technically, tomatoes are a fruit and not a vegetable, and as such, they are the only fruit I like in my salad. However, I don’t mind causing several different kinds of fruit in a bowl and eating them that way.
It’s not like it doesn’t all wind up in the same stomach anyway….

We were shopping yesterday. Most ppl were nice and really respectful. There was one who came at her, however. She and I both pulled away. The guy got mad at me, saying he just wanted to pet her. I told him neither of us cared what HE wanted. She's a service dog and was working.
Thanks, @Wat_Tyler - I was going to be a bit moreSome people's kids still need to be paddled and sent to bed hungry.
It is nice to know that the furry kids are at the end of today's trail
Like the donuts... but with turkeys?I know the owners of this restaurant. A long time ago (30 +years) I met him and he said they cooked turkeys every day, first thing in the morning around 3 am!![]()
Any day ending in "Y" for me... but thank you for posting this. Made me realize I had logged my AM meds but then got distracted at work and never actually took them. So... I can have my coffee closer to lunch time todayI had to wait to have mine this am. Damn meds.

But jot every one and it has to be with the correct dressing
I’m almost always using balsamic. I like the vinegar bite.

From the Mixed Up Files of Likes2's Food Issues...Tomatoes are poisonous. Anyone that ate one before the year 1900 is dead. Proof positive.![]()
Pesky tomatoes and waterNo, that was the drinking water that killed them all.
I dunno abt that. You seem plenty wise!I'm afraid my advanced years haven't brought me much wisdom!![]()
Wow, that’s commitment!I know the owners of this restaurant. A long time ago (30 +years) I met him and he said they cooked turkeys every day, first thing in the morning around 3 am!![]()
You are not failing! In and out! I keep trying to catch up but am failing. I did consider just throwing in the towel and starting at the end. But... OCD.![]()
I know this sounds sacrilegious, but do you ever have salads without dressing? From the Mixed Up Files of Likes2's Food Issues...
Today's episode... fruit and fish...
where we find that Likes2 is a Fruititarian and has allergic reactions to any type of shelf-stable fish or tomatoes.
This means she will mix her fruit and veggies on a salad... but then the saga of how to dress the salad begins...
Sometimes tasty options such as Ranch (dairy) and Balsamic (vinegar) are not tolerated. Neither is citrus... so "Fresh Squeezed Lemon and EVOO" are no longer an option.
Often, EVOO and some fresh ground black pepper and a quick stop at the spice drawer will do the trick.
Because an undressed salad can be a challenge to truly enjoy sometimes.
On that note... I'm off to lunch, spoonies... Nothing better than a mid-day snoozle
Carpe Diem and Hasta la Vista
I’ve been told that the fat helps with processing of the nutrients in the greens.I know this sounds sacrilegious, but do you ever have salads without dressing?
Sometimes I find I just crave and need raw vegetables. Whatever everyone has their own thing, and that is mine (most of the time).
