Urgh… speaking of health troubles, my buddy w MS is back in the hospital. He got dizzy and light headed from a UTI and he fell. They discovered several blood clots in his lungs there… he is immobile so I guess this is why it’s happening. I was a little worried that him being immobile may do that (he has a history of bcz) or get bed sores.

I am seriously worried for him. Will he ever be able to get back home? Will he require ft care (like a nursing home)?

This shit we take for granted… like just walking and moving…

Not quite the 3 am club but does 4 am count?.

What weighs on my mind this morning is my health. I don’t like my aging body.

First I have unexpected weight loss: 10 pound in 2 months. The blood work looks normal so now onto CT scans and oral contrast. IV contrasts cause kidneys to malfunction and hurt!

Then my dentist worries about my front teeth and gums bleeding. This is unusual as front teeth always are brushed. I try not to Doctor Google and live by an old saying:” Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you”.

It is good you are getting medical help, my brother will not go to the doctor. I just went to the dermatologist to get checked and he froze a few spots. The medical community is getting better all the time. I've made it thru serious cancer twice now and still kicking.

If I told my brother in law about winning a turkey he would be jealous. He’s going on 7 months of dialysis without a missed treatment.

They are good over there... they have him playing bingo too!!!

Morning Spooners. New tank is fully installed and functioning! Just in time for some 30d WX at night. Went over and cleaned up mommas back porch, and that led to pulling out her Christmas decs from the shed, which led to me cleaning and repairing the shed. It was a day but knocked it out. Even got my paperwork sent off.

Walking today and tidying up some loose ends. Should get a little food shopping knocked out today. We’re drawing straws for who stays with momma and when. I’ll probably end up there every night but need one volunteer for dart night.

I worked half a day today.

Was gonna cut down some ash trees for firewood… I need to catch up and I’m down to six cords. But rain got in the way.

So Mrs wonderer and I went to see the new Bruce Springsteen movie. Pretty good. Not a huge Bruce fan, but I like him. And it was a decent movie - cool to see a lot of the schemes at the Asbury park convention center, the stone pony and casino amusements.

Afterwards we went to a local joint that I hadn’t been to in years and had… bar pie. It wasn’t very good, but nice to have a pizza and beer.

She is an excellent cook and very patient and has a good sense of humor. She is a survivor of stage 4 breast cancer as well. Close calls give one a unique perspective on life and our loved ones.

Glad you get checked. That's part of it - you never know what they may find.
I have several relatives for whom that's fear of the unknown is just too much. They psyche themselves out and then stop going.
