The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Ok. I'm sorry, but this pisses me off. (At one point I was a certified mechanic. I still do my own stuff.) On average this is probably an under $50 part, and likely a 10 minute job once the car is in the air. I've done many of these on.my own stuff. I know you can't do it yourself, so you're kinda stuck. I would gladly offer to help if you weren't several thousand miles away.

If you can find the right mom and pop shop, and get to know them, it might be worth looking for one.
So, you're saying if I can get it to you, you can fix it? 😆🤣

You're right. I am stuck. And I have little car knowledge. I can make them go forward and back up. An parallel park. I can parallel park like a mutha! Other than that, I really have no inner workings knowledge.

I had a wonderful mechanic when I lived in LA. Since I've been here, I have no idea how to go about finding a reputable shop. At least the dealership is only going to screw me out of money, not destroy my car.

Today was a half frustrating day, half satisfying one. I didn't sleep well and woke up too early. My nephew called me last night to tell me his dad died. 😢💔

It's still raining and I'm thinking I might need to band together with my friends and neighbors on a ark.

I tried to go to my dr office today. Got on the fwy and noticed too late it was stopped. It was closed both ways for flooding. It took me about 45 minutes to go 1/4 of a mile to the next exit where DOT was forcing everyone off. I called in and got my appointment changed to 0930 tomorrow morning.

0930!!! Who gets up that early??? 😤😡

I'm gonna call when I wake up to see if I can do this virtual.

When I got home, I took care of some business stuff that needed tookening. TM Wat

Then I baked.

I'm headed to bed now. Because I'm a fucking idiot and scheduled an appointment for 0930! 🤬

🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏. Sorry

Funny how SO many people miss the point of a Probationary Period.
The easiest way to cut a weasel loose!

Still - another chance to use that idiom from high school Spanish class:
Más vale tarde que nunca 😂
(Better late than never)

As we say: mejor que antes. (better than before).

Wat is less-n-less a fan of Manglement here . . . .

I worked for decades and retired from and automotive industry in manufacturing. We would have a "shutdown" for two weeks to swtich over to the new model year. It was two weeks of Saturdays because we worked thru the weekends too and long hours. One time I passed out because my blood sugar went too low and I didn't eat.
