I went to the garage to get my pickup, it was in for some work. They had a 61 Chevy Impala on the lift. That is not real old but it was the car I learned to drive in. The garage was an older gas stattion at one time before Wawas where I spent a lot of time in my formative years. it was almost like i steped thru a time warp.

I went to the garage to get my pickup, it was in for some work. They had a 61 Chevy Impala on the lift. That is not real old but it was the car I learned to drive in. Was the 61 Impala a stick with no power steering? I learned on one that had “ 3 on the tree” stick shift. It was not easy but I was desperate for freedom and learned!

These were the grocery store already washed and in the fridge for who knows how long. If i get from the neighbor they are unwashed and left out.

Reminds me of where I lived in PA. It was out in farm country and sometimes the roads would get drifted shut. A couple of times they had to bring in backhoes to clear the roads. There were a couple of times we could not go anywhere for days.
