The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I had when put in several years ago I probably should have done it myself. What they do is bore a hole through the concrete slab of the basement. As well as the concrete slab of the rec room use pvc piping. It has to be vented above the roof line.
I'm more curious about how loud the blowers are, and how much power they consume?

My application is slightly different, for completely different reasons. But stealing the idea and hardware makes a lot of sense!

I dont know how i feel about eating road kill... like depends on the damage and don't tell me
I guess it's all relative. I've seen guys mess up a lot of meat with a rifle or shotgun/buckshot.

A pheasant bumped off a bumper, or deer bumped in the front half leaves a lot of good meat.
Or that stupid grouse that broke it's neck flying into your window. Them is good eatin'!
(Good eatin' = right there and free! :ROFLMAO: )

Believe it or not, they're very quiet. You do hear them, but you have to make sure that there's no vibration because they are attached to the house. You will hear it inside the house. But not as loud as a fan.

When I was in the hospital bed, not allowed to get up, for two weeks, nurses got me thru. There was a nurse that was surprised I remembered her name. I made a point to remember.
We love that stuff... i had a patient that had expressive aphasia he was a pastor and would cry... i would sit with him and pray with him and tell his to buck up. We will figure it out. Etc... we did and he started to talk again. He gave me the biggest hug when he was discharged and his wife sent us yummy food all the time. Well to ke but i shared

They have rebel canners that dont follow canning rules.
They are begging to die from botulism

Exactly! Some common sense goes a LONG way.
I still prefer freezing over canning. Although with enough salt/vinegar or sugar canning is fine. Both salt and sugar act as preservatives.

So eat that salty and sugary preserved food. It's life or death we're talking a bout here! :ROFLMAO:

Very familiar with NVH, noise, vibation etc. Isolation, from pipe to blower, blower to building etc.

Cart before the horse here, tho. First step is making sure it resolves the issue. After that, a permanent install will be wanted.
(Actually planning on closing the control loop with a speed control to adjust pressure as needed. Sensors, phase angle speed controller, pressure sensors are also on the way...)

I was also thinking this might be a nice to ventilate a small enclosure for 3D printers, etc.

We had to put a radon fan and when we got this house. It was 12 years ago though.

Basically, they drilled a hole through the foundation in the basement (maybe a few holes if I remember correctly) and installed a fan to vent it outside. We still get a little bit of a high radon count in our water, but I’m not too worried about it.

It ain’t affected me none! 🤪😂
There are good water filters that remove radon, a carcinogen. The radon absorbs to the carbon in the filters. Replace carbon cartridges frequently and dispose in thrash.

The manual in this one says 0-20W oil or you'll void the warranty. It's a tough gamble. Void warranty to maybe make the engine last longer??? My concern with light oils is they design the clearances to be tighter in the engine, which means less clearances! But as the engines are designed for lighter oil, they may not last with thicker oil.

My current plan is to run 0W-20 until the warranty is up Then switch to 5E-20 or maybe 5W-30.

The biggest thing is to have shorter change intervals. Currently I've chosen 4000 miles. Since filters and oil are cheap, I might drop to 3000 miles...

Any Tribologists in the house?
I know I could Google it, but what is a tribologist?

I’m pretty sure in this context it’s not someone who studies trilobites… or is it??

One of these days they will figure out nurses have ptsd
One of our friends specializes in treating PTSD for first responders: firefighters, police, EMS, nurses, doctors. It’s quite specialized.

Those wounds can run deep.
