IC: The shadows move my hands back to her waist as we drive on. I sigh of relief at knowing she wasn't mad about what happened.
Trying to put that behind I ask "So am I going to have to wear a blindfold when we get near your place?" How far is it till we get to her place anyway?

IC: Hearing her laughing was music to my ears. When she said that thing about the systems killing I became a little nervous but figure she wouldn't take me somewhere that might be dangerous... would she?

Instead of answering I pull quickly INTO a wall. It's a hologram but I still can't help but smile at Renegade's reaction as we pull into the garage.

OOC: That's good to hear. I actualy said a prayer for your mouse to get better last night. Wonder if there's a connection? *hit the exorcist theme*
IC: "Ah!" I yell out as we go speeding into a wall! When I open my eyes again I see us inside of a garage.
"What was that about?" I ask while trying to get off of the bike without looking stupid.
So much for that. I lose my balance and slip to the floor on my ass with a thud. Shadowess trys to keep from laughing at what happened but a chuckle or two escapes her lips. Grining back at her, I pull myself up and ask "So what do you want to do now?"
I figured that we'd have to clean up the place first from the explosion.

IC: We made our way to the lab where her father had passed away. When we got to the lab, she looked obviously upset about being at the lab this soon.
Resting my hand on her side, I ask "Do you want to pass on doing this? I could clean it up on my own."
I walked over to the lab and began to use my shadow portals to teleport the things that were completly destroyed to the local dump.

I needed to make sure of something "Are you sure you want to make that change? This isn't just something that you want to do to help you deal with... well you know..." I didn't want to upset her but I needed to make sure this was what she wanted.

IC: I nod at her reason "Things will be different for you now Shadowess, different for both of us. And I'm going to help you make the change to being a hero."
After the lab was cleaned I did not know what else she needed done. This was a pretty neat place from the inside. *yawn* All of this use of my powers and patroling the city had taken alot out of me.
I ask her "Would you mind showing me were I will be staying?"

I look across the hall at where Shadowess was staying. At least if anything happens to her, she wont be to far away from me to help.

OOC: Actually, when we first got it we had no idea how to keep it warm, so we put it on my moniter, works like a charm....Little couldn't depress a key yet.

I smile at Renegade's awe of the room, happy he likes it. It's nice to be home. The memories hurt but...It was still home.
I grin as I flop on my bed. He hugged me! I hug Teddy to my chest and happily drift off.

IC: After I made the bed I strip myself down to my boxers and roll up in the bed with the sheets over me. It had been a long time since I've leaved under the same roof with someone else, even if it wasn't for good.
Right after I drift off to sleep, I think I hear a noise with my superhearing and wake up. Looking around the room, I go to my door to see if I could hear or see anyone outside...

IC: Looking around the castle at night, I give up and head back to my room when I see a shape stairing back at me. I move in on the shape quickly but it dissapears as soon as I reach it.
"Shit" I mutter to myself "please don't tell me he found me again."
Sitting on my bed, I stay up all night, awaiting the day light out of fear that me and Shadowess were not alone anymore.

OOC: I have ICQ but I never use it myself so I'll need to ask someone to show me how to use it tomorrow.
IC: I look around surprised when I hear Jean knock on the door. Damn, I didn't get any sleep last night and now I probably didn't look that great. Getting up, I pull on my pants and grab my shirt. Once I get on my pants and shirt with the R on it, I walk up to the door and open it.
Looking out to see the well rested Jean, I tell her in a tired voice "Give me a few minutes to get ready and I'll be right there."
Closing the door, I go to the bathroom to wash up before I joined her. As I prepared myself, thought went through my head all the time of what happened last night. Was that psycho realy here last night or was it someone else? Or was is all in my head? Well in either case, right now I had to concentrate on helping Jean.
Heading downstairs, I yell out "So what do you usualy have for breakfast Jean?" Just about anything we could get to eat had to be better then what I usualy got stuck with for breakfast these days.

Taking a seat at the table I ask "Do you want me to take care of that for you?" What was I saying? The way I was right now, I'd probably fall asleep in the oven!
Resting my head in my hands, I look at Jean for a long time and get to take in every inch of her body for the first time in the daylight. How could such a beautiful woman be forced into so much pain? And why did I get this feeling for her whenever I was in her presence?
My mind was snapped back when she handed me the coffee. "Thank you." I tell her while taking a drink. After I finish my coffee I ask "So what do you want to do for today, Jean?"
OOC: I almost have a headache from that Monster Bash thread of mine. New guy is moving everyones characters around and now I don't know where my guy is on that thread! Been spending the last hour trying to figure out where I am. You know what's the scary thing? He reminds me of myself when I first came to the board! When I look at the original Superhero League thread I see how I sometimes moved around everyones charcters against their will. Must be Karma.
