OOC: Well we can stay with it for now to see if we can get it going again. Still not sure about how to use the ICQ we have.
IC: We took our seats as the movie began to play on the projecter. I turn to Jean and tell her with a smirk "What, no trailers?" She laughed at that as we began to share the popcorn we got and opened our candy.
I look at Jean then back at the film and say out loud "It's been awhile since I've taken a date to the movies." She turns to me as I give her a warm smile.

They had a maid? Maybe he was the one I saw last night? Yeah that would explain alot about what I saw in the dark of the night. Keeping that thought to keep me at ease, I asked Jean "So, was the maid here last night?" I didn't tell her about what I saw but was hoping she would take this as just an attempt at small talk.
As I waited for he answer, I picked up a handfull of popcorn and gulped it down as the guy on screen was telling the couple "Got caught with a flat? Well, how 'bout that. Well babies, don't you panic. By the light of the night It'll all seem alright I'll get you a Satanic mechanic..." What a weird movie...

IC: My eyes catch the glowy lights that look at us from above the dark room. This guy was either realy smart or realy freaked out.
Taking another drink, I ask Jean "So... how far did you get with most of your boyfriends here?"

I almost choke on my food at her last comment. Turning to her I ask "What do you mean not far here?" She grins at me which says more then words could ever hope to.
I have to smile back to her at this new revelation from her. Feeling closer to her for her revealing more about herself, I put my arm around her shoulders as we shared the popcorn.
Smirking a little to her, I asked "So now that you could get away with more here, what would you do?"

IC: A smile spreeds across my face at her blushing face. Staying close to her while we continued to eat the snacks, I told her "Anyone ever tell you that you look cute when you blush?"
She smiles at this as we continue to watch the movie. When this movie ends we were going to have to go out into the world and there was no telling what we could face out there...

I notice that Jean had settled into my arm around her like we were on a real date. Smiling, I tell her "I think we had a nice date, Jean." She turns to me with some surprise but smiled back at my words.
Holding her to me, I forgot all about everything bad that had happened to me during the last few years and just enjoyed the moment. Not being able to fight my feelings, I lean over and kiss her lightly on the cheek...

When we arrive at the garage, I ask her "Do you feel like walking or taking your bike to the theatres?"

I nod in agreement. She was to well known for us to go out right now. Maybe after she got a reputation as a hero we could risk going on a date like that. Turning back to the bedrooms, I tell her "Let me get dressed in my uniform and I'll meet you in a few minutes."
When I get to my room and get fully dressed, I jerk around at the sight of another figure in the room. "Who's there?" I ask as I prepare to fire a shadow blast at the figure. But then I realise the figure had dissapeared from my sight once again. Could he be here?
Trying to put that behind me, I make my way back to the garage where Jean is waiting for me. "Are you ready to go?" I ask her now with my black costume fully on.

I nodded, fiddling with Nightmare.
"Just one sec. Nightmare, voice and handprint authorization, add new rider..." I took Renegade's hand and him press it on the pad that had opened, then say a few things.
"There, just in case..." I say smiling.
"New Rider accepted, Shadowess..." Nightmare intoned as I handed R his helmet.

Putting on my helmet, I hopped onto the bike behind Jean as she prepared to leave. "Hang on tight" she tells me as the bike takes off with a start into the night. We go right through the hologram to the outside of the castle. Nightmare carries us through the night streets of the city.
"So where do you think we should try first?" I ask as I hold onto her tightly to make sure I dont fall off with all of her twists and turns.
Just then, I thought I saw someone flying in the air to the right of us but the next thing I know he's gone. Must be my imagination...

Instead of answering I jerk into an ally and take down three men headed for a woman. The shadows tie them to a dumpster and I have Nightmare call the police as I speed away.

Still looking in the direction of the guys she just took out like nothing. Man she was good. "I can tell you get alot of practice from those saturdays" I tell her over the mic. Just then I'm jerked from the bike by someone unknown person.
Once we get high into the air, I turn around to see who was there "Wiz-Blade? What the hell do you think you're doing?" He gives me a look then yells "Helping the enemy huh? Sorry kid, but it looks like you're to dangerous to have around." With that he drops me from 20 storys high...

I jerk Nightmare to halt as I feel Renegade pulled away I look up and flinch as I see Wiz-Blade. Damned bast...Fuck! He let go of Renegade.
"Nightmare! Turbo!" The bike blasts upward and the shadows cushion R as he lands back on the bike. The shadows cushion our fall and I jerk us to a halt and pull off my helmet as Wiz-Moron lands.
"You STUPID BASTARD!" I growl.

IC: My head spins at the speed I fell from the sky. This was the fastest I had gone. Plus the fear of being killed made it even more scary.
Once I got myself composed, I turned to see Jean yelling at Wiz-Blade "You STUPID BASTARD!"
Wiz-Blade walks towards us with that arrogant voice of his "You two are nothing but a couple of punks that think you know better then the rest of us. I'm taking you both in as suspects in the murder of Dr. Destructo."
What!? He was blaming us for Jeans fathers death? This guy was just trying to come up with any excuse to bring us in!

A hand fell softly on my shoulder. I glanced up at Ratman's face.
"Don't kid...You know Wiz shoots off at the mouth." He then ignored Wiz-Blade.
"Some of the guys at the bar were worried. How about you and R. drop by with me?"
