IC: Eating the food she had prepared I suggest "How about that superhero thing? You said you were interested in trying that out so how about doing some crime fighting work today? Might be fun."

Turning back to my food, my mind flashes back again to what had happened last night. If he had found me then perhaps it would be safer for Jean if I don't stay around her. Then again I had to admit that I was getting a crush on her. Things were going to be getting more interesting around here.

OOC: Why the " " ?

IC:
"We could," I agree slowly. I hope we don't run into Whiz-Blade, though.

"But finish breakfast first, didn't you sleep well last night?" I caught myself watching him eat, how can he make that look so good?

OOC: Just messing with you. LOL

IC: I almost choke on my food when she asks that. If she only knew how restless my night was. Swallowing the food I had in my mouth, I tell her "Well I thought I heard a noise last night so I checked it out. Couldn't get back to sleep after that. Nothing to worry about."

Something told me she knew I was keeping something else from her. Trying to change the subject I ask "Do you prefer to work the streets at night or during the day?" Was she watching me? Nah, I must be seeing things.

OOC: Hmmm....ok....Sorry I wasn't on earlier, but I've got a friend over, she's in bed now....And I need to go there soon too But I think I got a couple more posts in me.

IC:

That was sweet. I just wish he would tell me the whole truth.

"At night, when the shadows are deepest..." I answer, biting into a piece of toast.

OOC: You have a friend over and she's in bed and now your going there soon too? Why does that sound dirty for some reason? J/K

IC: That's what I thought she'd prefer since I've yet to see her out during the day. Nodding in agreement I ask "So what do you feel like doing till then?"

We did have alot of time to kill and this was a big place that probably had alot of things to keep us busy. I wonder what she did to have fun around here? Just then it hit me "Hey Jean, do you have a pool?"

OOC: *hits you with pillow* I'm sleeping on the couch wise guy

IC:
"Two actually," I smirk.

"An inside one, and an outside one." I smile softly remembering when dad got them.

"I don't think swiming would be a good idea for me though..." I hold up my newly bandaged asrms.

"But I wouldn't mind watching you..."

OOC: Sure you are. *jumps out of the way of a book*

IC: Looking at her arms, I nod at understanding how she would need to keep the bandages clean. For a moment I thought that maybe it would be to soon for her to begin patroling the streets again but she was one tough lady.

Finishing the food I tell her "Well I'm going to need to head out to pick up some trunks for the swim."

Seeing that she was also done, I picked up her plate and cup and took all of our things to the sink where I washed them for her. When I was done, I asked her "You wouldn't happen to have anything I could wear in the pooh would you?"

OOC: Where's that anvil...Acme ya know...

IC:
I smile as he takes my things to the sink and think for a moment.

"I think you might find something in the 'Clothes Room'. Dad kept clothes from a lot of different places and in all sorts of sizes. Just in case, not sure what he was expecting but..." I smile fondly at the memory.

OOC: That's ok because I have an umbrella so .

IC: We walk over to the 'Clothes Room' and look inside to see a huge collection of clothes that were of every size and color and... everything! Was Dr. Destructo expecting to take over the world by keeping up with the fashion trends? Looking through the room, I found alot of swimsuits but most were either to small or two big.

I see one pair and pick them up and show them to Jean "Hey check out this thing. This pair would put a speedo to shame."

Putting it back I search around some more when I find a pair that looks good. Holding it up, I try it on over my pants and like the way it fitted. "This looks good." I tell Jean as I make my way out of the room.

"I'll go get changed then I'll meet you at the pool" I tell her as I made my way back to my room to change.

OOC: But I have the umberella-proof version.

IC:
"I'll be there. Remember, third door, down the second hall to the right..."

I walk to the pool room and settle into one of the padded chairs. I look at the blue sky through the sky-light, reinforced super glass of course. The room was designed to look like a tropical scene. Palm trees and thick folidge was all around, the pool even had a waterfall and was made out of natural rock.

A fridge was hiddedn behind a particually large palm tree, right next to the bar. I loved this room.

OOC: NOOO! Please don't hurt me! *falls to floor and begs for mercy*

IC: After I had gotten dressed in my black swimtrunks, I grab a towel and put over my shoulders as I made my way to the pool.

When I arrived at the pool room, I stair and marvel at the size and beauty of the place. This was realy impressive stuff here. Dr. Destructo could have made a fortune as a designer if he wasn't so obsessed with taking over the world.

I see Jean sitting on a padded chair and approach her. When I get to her I tell her "This is a great place your dad put together."

Before I jump into the pool I ask for her opinion "So what do you think of the suit?"

OOC: My last post for the night. Have fun with your 'friend' Night.

OOC: *rolls eyes* Night...

IC:
Jean's eyes roam up Renegade's body and her mouth goes dry.

"Nice...Excellant...Very...Excellant..." she squeakes out, pulling out a magazine from the table beside her.

OOC: Did you have fun with your 'friend'? Want you to know that I'll try my best to post at this thread despite my leaving the board in general.

IC: I raise an eyebrow at Jeans reaction but just decide to go for a swim. Taking off my towel, I look over the pool for the best place to jump in. Then I get a wicked idea in my head.

"Hey Jean, check this out!" I yell to her as I jump into the water right next to where she was causing a small splash of water to fall on her!

OOC: WHAT!? Why?

IC: I laughed and stuck my tongue at him. The shadows moved and dumped water on his head.

OOC: I'm feeling MUCH better now RoseThorn. Thanks for the e-mails but you still didn't answer my question. What did you do last night with your 'Friend' that was sleeping over?

IC: "Oh crap!" I yell as the shadows turned into buckets and started tossing water onto me. Everwhere I moved they were there already to splash me before I knew what happened.

Throwing my hands up I tell her "Ok Jean! You win! Call of your shadows!" Giggling, she calls them off and has them dry herself as I continued to swim around the pool.

Turning around I tell her "Those guys must come in real handy during a snow ball fight."

OOC: Slept
Glad you're feeling better I'll try to be on tonight, but I'm tired.

IC:
I grin.

"Yup. The shadows are great..." My mind moves to the other things they're good for and I shift slightly.

OOC: *smirks* 'Slept' huh? Is that what you kids call it these days? lol Thanks again for the emails.

IC: I notice her shift in her seat slightly but just sigh to myself and continue to swim.

After about half an hour of this I ask her "Are you sure you don't want to come in for awhile? Maybe just stay in the shallow end for awhile before I get out?"

I knew she had to keep her bandages clean but figured the shadows could cover them for just a short time.

OOC: *sticks tongue out at you* N/p. Sorry I wasn't on last night I posted and started falling asleep.

IC:
"Ok..." I nod, feeling the shadows cover my bandages on my arms and ribs. A simple one piece was made from the shadows formed as my clothes dissappeared. I stepped hesitantly into the shallow end.

OOC: No prob. Hope we get a chance to be on at the same time tomorrow.

IC: My eyes widen at seeing her in that one piece the shadows had put onto her. From this far, she still had an obviously good body on her. She seemed very hesitant about getting into the shallow end of the pool.

Swimming over to her, I asked "Do you need help with getting in or anything?"

Now that I was closer to her, I could fully appreciate how beautiful she looked in that one piece. Definatly a rare case of outer beauty matching inner beauty. And I thought she looked great before...

Hope we are now!

IC:
"No...I think I'm ok..." I sigh as the cool water closes around and do a couple of strokes. Her ribs protested but not too bad.

OOC: Maybe we can get more posts done this time. lol

IC: I watch on as she begins to swim in the shallow end. The look on her face tells me she has some slight pain but that she was determined to not let it stop her. After a short while of her swim I can see the pain begining to get to her more and more with each stroke.

Swimming up to her, I ask "So do you want to get out for now? Maybe rest up before we head out tonight?" She turned to me with some obvious look of pain on her face.

IC:
"I think that'd be good..." I say in relief. I get out of the pool and the shadows cacoon me, drying me and putting on fresh clothes, they drop a towel on Renegade.

I take the towel the shadows had give me and begin to dry myself as Jean prepares to go inside. "So what do you want to do for now Jean?" we still had another couple of hours before night time.

"Want to watch some movies for now? Or do you have anything else planned?" I ask her as I finish drying myself up completly.

Jean was realy great to talk with. I could tell she also liked me alot aswell. We got along great but I still felt uneasy about telling her that... I was starting to have a crush on her.

"Movies are good...There's a movie room..." I caught his raised eyebrow and ducked my head.

"Dad sorta spoiled me...It's stocked with a real popcoprn machine and drink fountain like at the movies, candy too. You can use tapes or, we've got a lot of other films...on the actual film and a projector..." I rambled.

OOC: Hey I think we should let the Superhero League thread die out huh? Other then us nobody else is posting anymore. Plus that way we could just concentrate on this thread.

IC: Giving Jean a raised eyebrow, I asked with sarcasm "Why don't you just call the cast of The Godfather and have them act out the entire trilogy for us?" She smirked at me as she led the way to the movie room.

Once we make it to the room, I asked "So do you have an usher to show us to our seats?" She gave me a sarcastic chuckle as we closed the door behind us so we could watch the movie in peace.

"So which movie do you feel like seeing?" I asked as I began to feel up the empty buckets with popcorn.
