Can you throw any chemistry to the BS claims by skin care companies? eg Hyaluronic Acid or even Triple Hyaluronic Acid! ( Three times as good then ) that claims to include plumping polysaccharides, pro-ceramides and super peptides?! Wow. I wouldn't let a bunch of media people near my skin TYVM

I think there has been some positive science regarding hyaluronic acid … but it’s definitely not the miraculous drug it’s sold as

What's the perfect drink on a slightly chilly Wednesday night?

So you don't want to believe there's even science behind some claims? It's not the fault of science that some companies do exaggerated claims of an actual thing.

I could easily find a serious paper about the role of HA in skin (and elsewhere in body) and how it changes when aging.

I am a scientist and I'm all too aware of fringe and bogus science being claimed by snake oil salesman and politicians as the next best thing. You don't have to look far for fake covid cures to prove that.

I really hope you are not saying that there's never any actual science involved, if the marketing claims are wildly exaggerated.

Because that would be just as naive as to believe all the fake claims, just on the opposite side.
Even the snake oil was a real thing in history - the bad reputation became of fake products, but the real stuff existed too and was effective.

Your attitude, however, sounds like exactly that.
