{{{{{{{{Mary}}}}}} Sweets!!! Hope you don't mind me filling up your thread tonight!!

Moments in Life
There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

When the door of happiness closes, another opens; but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one, which has been opened for us.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.

Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Please send this message to those people who mean something to you (I JUST DID); to those who have touched your life in one way or another; to those who make you smile when you really need it; to those who make you see the brighter side of things when you are really down; to those whose friendship
you appreciate; to those who are so meaningful in your life.

If you don't send it, don't worry, nothing bad will happen to you; you will just miss out on the opportunity to brighten someone's day with this message!!!

Don't count the years-count the memories...........

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away!

Hope people enjoy this. I know I did. :D
I really like this one.....and please post all you want....That is why I started this :D

I remember that is what you said, thank you. It is quiet here tonight. I wonder if people are still being told the site is down like I am told. Of course I didn't believe that message and tried a couple of ways to get in. ;)

Wonder if whatever fiddling they did earlier will have any real good impact when the site is busy again?

Thanks so much to everyone for the encouraging words and prayers........sure is nice to come here and feel so at home with ppl that I have never met. Feels like a big happy family here.

The procedure isn't in the water.......he said something about shooting some type of electric rays into the kidney to break up the stone. He says it is painful, so I will be put partially asleep. I too pray that the first procedure works and will definately keep everyone posted.

I was born in 65 and remember almost everything mentioned in what Mary posted........sure wish life were that simple again.

After reading all the things that Kool-aid is good for, it makes me wonder how it could be safe to drink.........but I'm still alive and drank lots of kool-aid in my younger years.

Kaytee........loved your Moments in Life post.........we need to read that more often to remind us of what we have and not what others have.

Mary.........I sure am glad that I found your thread and decided to post........I really enjoy reading how everyone's day has been, whether it was good or bad, we can all count on one another to give that special thought or prayer to someone. Thanks for letting me a part of this wonderful family.

Hugs and Licks to all...........Puddin

Puddin this is exactly what I wanted it to be.....I really enjoy meeting new people....I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine....therefore, I thought well maybe others need an outlet.....so i decided to give it a try....what could it hurt....:D

And so you can know a lil more about me.....

I was born in Nov. 1967, in ohio....I was the third of 7 kids....I am a very friendly and outgoing person for the most part.....When I was 33 years old the drs diagnosed me with Rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia on top of already having asthma, allergies and sinus problems most of my life.....IN one years time i had 4 surgeries......then they diagnosed me with PMDD, Polystic ovarian disease, TMJ, Depression and just lately I have been diagnosed with diabetic and hypothyroidism.....I am in PT for a knee injury that is getting better....I am single, never married and no children of my own.... I have my 5 neices and 4 nephews of which one is my God Son.....he makes me feel old....But that is the basics of me....and I want you all to know that know that i have people out there praying for me that makes it more bareable......:D

So keep the laughter and the good spirits in here....and keep pulling together the way we have been.....:D

Hi my name is....dang, I forgot.

Actually I was born in 58 and have visited all over the globe.

Right now, I have a sticky mouse, the wind blowing outside, and I am enjoying reading about you all.

Thanks so much for sharing MaryBears.........you have definately been through alot. I have heard of some of the things that you mentioned and even share a few of them. I too have asthma, diabetes, and suffer from depression. I was recently diagnosed with degerative disk disease and am working with a doctor for that. I went through PT and it helped immensly......it saved my life at one point. You are a strong woman and from what I have read on this thread, you have a great support system here as well. I know it is hard to stay still when you are feeling better, but over-doing it can cause severe reactions as well........so do what you can and remember.......it will always be there tomorrow.

I told you a little about me above, but I can share more. I'm 38 years old and the mother of three wonderful kids. I divorced my ex four years ago and never thought I could make it on my own, but with the strength of my friends and family and our Lord, I am doing great. My kids are daughter age 11, sons 16 and almost 21. I know.........how could I have a kid that is almost 21.......back then I thought it was my fate........get pregnant, get married and live happily ever after, but most of all it would get me away from my mother. Never married the jerk, raised my oldest son on my own with no financial support, and now have a good relationship with my mom. Found out later in life that MOM'S aren't really stupid, they do know what they are talking about. So anyway now you know more about me as I do you and I thank you for sharing.

Hugs to all..........Puddin

Most of the funnies I get, are mailed to me. I admit, I am lazy. ;)

Hope you are having a great time doing the Christmas time stuff for your nieces and nephews. :D

So what about the cleaning? In the long grand scheme of things will anyone notice? And if they do, tough!!!

However the memories that the children will have are priceless. :rose:

This has got to be one of the best singles ad's ever:

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant.

I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing. Candlelight dinners will make me happy. Rub me the right way and watch me shake all over.
I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Kiss me and I am yours. Call (404-875-6420) and ask for Daisy.

Over 15,000 men found themselves talking to the Atlanta Humane Society about an 8 week old black Labrador retriever.
