When I wrote that, all I could think was it won't be long before he is too grown up to spend the weekend with mommy, he turned 14 in January....he has his first girlfriend and will be in High school next year and, isn't there a way to make them stay young?? I didn't worry about the oldest one this much though looking back maybe I should have, he will be graduating in May, providing he stays out of trouble and stays in school.

Sounds like you have a couple of wonderful children!!!
For the most part, its been a challenge to keep the oldest one in school. He has worked since he was 13 and doesn't see where he needs an education....good thing I love him...

Some ecclesiastical gentlemen -- a cardinal, a couple of bishops and some others -- were waiting outside the Pearly Gates for St. Peter to open up.

I find that it is hard for me to confront people as well. The only bad thing about that for me is that I keep it inside and it festers just like a sore and when it finally gives way..........it is an ugly scene. I have a friend that often tells me his opinion about things in my life that he thinks should be different, in HIS opinion I am not doing things that I should. I listen to him and ask him not to share his opinion so often, but after a while I just end up blowing up at him and then the argument is on. So I know where you are coming from although the situations we are talking about are different. Try not to be so hard on yourself, it takes time to change old habits Mary.........just try working on it more often. Anyway, that is enough of my two cents worth and I am rambling on, so I will shut up about it now.
Hope that you have a nice relaxing weekend and can do something fun without overdoing it. As for me, this is my long weekend to work.

OH I am the same way....i hold my feelings and emotions in and then when they blow watch out.......It is a very ugly site.....and the thing about it is...I don't remember what I say or do then I am hard on myself.....give myself the old quilt trip that I should have never even opened my mouth.....SO it is a no win situation wiht me.....
