Actually I use a plastic bag to line the crevise.
For the matress, it didn't hurt. Tickled though.

I have heard of the vibrating eggs but I don't have any (yet!). I am really new to sex toys for the most part although I have always had a vibrator. This is a small, soft gel dildo, I thought it would be more comfortable than a larger one for that long of a drive.
