You can do exercises to make your voice more attractive especially to males, try making the calling sound of a TurkeyHmmm, I think I'd prefer a tutor to help me with my diction.![]()
I know my audience. I use it when I have to go to Georgia for business.Y’all are a bunch of wankers picking on the word “Y’all” as if Y’all never use it!

Good job!! Pretty perfect, thought you missed the ‘r’ on park… which is fine if you’re attempting a Boston accent, though with the traditional one it’s a lot harsher than yours. More like https://voca.ro/1eMd85LWBJhE

Most I can, but really thick southern/Texan accents I can struggle with. I remember having to turn on subtitles to watch No Country for Old Men because of the Texan accents!Okay... QQ for all of you from the US.
Do you understand each other easily regardless of state/region accents?
Asking as in the UK dialects can be really broad. Have a hard time understanding my Scottish cousins sometimes.
It really depends but most of the time I can understand all regions and that’s probably because of the movies.Okay... QQ for all of you from the US.

I have never had an issue. Even if the dialect may be a little difficult, you can usually fill the gaps with the context of the conversation.Okay... QQ for all of you from the US.

When I went to Birmingham England, I had a real hard time understanding some of what they were saying! I mean, were they really speaking English?![]()
Also, where I live, there are lots of people that weren’t originally from around here. Lots of people who move from the north east so I’m subjected to lots of different accents. It really depends but most of the time I can understand all regions and that’s probably because of the movies.
