I’m taking the thread waaaaay back… I have confirmation that whoever started the “choona” debate wasn’t wrong, they just got the wrong country. Apparently it’s the Irish that say “choona”

My faults are many and my memory is now full of holes BUT if there's one take-away from my formal vocal training it is how to never be able to ignore the way a person speaks ever again. Things like "lieberry" "umm" "yer" and "CHUNA" stick out to me whether I want them to or not. 🤷

That education also showed me the value of ACTUAL skills I don't have like accounting and plumbing....😫
