Nah tortillas are fantastic for more than that!
I love a warm tortilla to scoop up my eggs/omelette or for a lunch wrap or just with some rotisserie chicken and sliced tomato

Yes, a softer version of a granola bar!
Basically rolled oats, demerara sugar, butter and golden syrup. Then baked.

I sometimes melt down dark chocolate and pour a thin layer over the top before chilling it. Because obviously the sugar and golden syrup is not sweet enough

How have I lived this long without knowing, and having, this???

So... Flapjacks on GBBO are how I found golden syrup.

To me, it tastes like when you get a bite of maple syrup that already has melted butter in it, but even more heavenly.

I first encountered golden syrup at breakfasts in South Africa. I've never seen it in a regular grocery store here in the US. I think this is a good description of the taste, but maple syrup is still my choice on pancakes.

I had a couple treacle desserts during my recent trip to Ireland. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I had to google 'treacle', because I'd seen and heard the word before, but never bothered to find out just what it meant. It was delicious.

You dip your toast into the runny yolk. Works just as good.

Or your hash browns.

I'm soooo hungry now! And lunch is raw veggies and hummus.
