The Cozy Corner

Here’s a question, probably a common one, but still fun I think… you get an all expenses paid trip to anywhere you want to go for two weeks (and paid vacation from work). You can choose to spend as much as you want on transportation and hotels, etc. Where are you going, for how long, what kind of style are you traveling in, and who are you going with?
I finally decided on this:

Vienna Austria. Lots of history to see and it's centrally located in Europe meaning I could take trains to nearly every major city over two weeks and see much of Europe.

Going alone but I feel I'll make a few friends alone the way.

I speak German, Danish, Italian and little French if you require a translator. ☺️

Simple answer for me: Bear River, Nova Scotia. That’s where my Mothers’ side of the family come from. I was there as a baby but don’t remember a thing. It’s basically an Indian reservation (no tents) and I’ve been told it’s one of the most tranquil spots on earth. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive, just family history. My Great Grandfather was an Indian Chief there years ago and I hear he did a lot for his people.

Honestly, i am going to Australia, i have been wanting to go since i was a kid, i want to visit places that are obscure from touristy city. I want to visit the snowy river mountains, and the pink lake.

I have to say i want to go alone, i want to meet locals and maybe flirt freely.

Doesn't Yoda follow something similar?
Exactly but incredibly English! I was taking a course at the German General Staff College in Hamburg. It was simultaneously translated into English. One of the instructors were droning on...and on...and no translation was coming we marginal Ger an speakers were all looking over at the translator booth concerned and one had the time to say "sorry gentlemen we are waiting for the verb" before the translation started.

I hope you can make it back there some day

Maybe they should have stared with shorter sentences? 🤷
