The Cozy Corner

Ha yeah well I’ve got an empty weekend schedule so you know…
That is not necessarily a bad thing.

I am getting ready to start my Saturday. Workout, breakfast, yardwork (after doing some light maintenance on the mower) and then I think I am going to take my bike to a local trailhead and go for a ride.

Sorry it was a quiet one for me last night so no crazy antics to spill.
Just up early!

Quiet nights can be good.

As far as being an early riser, I think it is fairly common trait. Being a coder I imagine you are pretty analytical, and your brain is always going. Rest probably doesn't come as easy as it should.

Me either. Love the smell but the taste unless it’s masked with cream and sugar it’s not for me.
Me neither originally. Until someone taught me to brew it well. I've unlocked coffee for two never-coffee drinkers to frequent drinkers so I reckon it could be you might just prefer a specific style of coffee or brewing method; one you haven't tried yet.

Coffee conventions have really opened my eyes to what coffee can be as a beverage and what it can taste like. Often very tealike.

I first discovered the magical properties of coffee after college when I first started working a 9-5 job.

Never drank it before then.

I wish I could show you the true magick of coffee. It's the balance of caffeination, meditation and brewing as an art and a ritual. I hope to channel some of that here through my posts. 😅
