Sunday Question: What does Sunday make you feel? Is it "Fuck, tomorrow is Monday!" or "This weekend has been amazing so far!" What's your first thought when you wake up on Sunday?

Often right now, fuck tomorrow is Monday… I don’t have my favorite job, ever, so I don’t particularly look forward to it. That’s been different in the past with other jobs, then it’s more of a relaxed feeling and a contentment with going back to work then next day.

Sunday Question: What does Sunday make you feel? Is it "Fuck, tomorrow is Monday!" or "This weekend has been amazing so far!" What's your first thought when you wake up on Sunday?
That is a hard question to answer because Sundays are sometimes empty in the agenda and sometimes not. I'm almost always well rested and is ready for the day when I wake up. I don't think about work or the weekend is almost over. It's more like make the most of this day! Some Sundays it's the whole day in the sofa and others is filled with doing things. More active in the warm half of the year.

Some times I mistake Sunday morning for Monday morning and vice versa when I first wakeup.

So first thing is to always catch my bearings on exactly what day it is.

Up until last year it was “I have to try and sleep cuz I’m working tonight”. Now it’s much more relaxing…still have things to do tomorrow but don’t worry about people dieing.

Definitely the latter! I always wake up with the mindset that Sundays are for calm, quiet, rejuvenation. Whatever that looks like for everyone. For me, it's enjoying my coffee, getting ready for church, reflecting on the week behind, and the week ahead. All the positive things that happened, all the good. And all the projects, tasks and to-do's that I either accomplished or still yet need to tackle. Mowing the lawn, prepping for the week, taking the kids to go do something fun. Sundays are possibly, probably my favorite day of the week.

Afternoon Cozy! It’s quiet today, we almost dropped off the first page.

Just sipping a new IPA, watching the Masters and folding laundry over here.
Listening to tunes, editing photos and drinking water (what is wrong with me) over here!
enjoying the cross breeze through the house - finally a nice weather day!
