The Cozy Corner

Question #1
If you could answer using reactions that would be amazing.
Which city would you like to visit most in CA?

👍 for Los Angeles
😍 for San Diego
🤣 for San Francisco
😲 for Disney Land (yeah I know please don't question this option 😅)
I have been to LA and San Diego which are great but San Francisco is one of worlds most unique cities.

Most underrated spot for me in LA is La Brea Tar Pits. Come on, it's a preserved prehistoric treasure trove.

Con: LA traffic cops are evil and pedantic. I got ticketed twice in one day for parking 6 inches into a no parking zone. It reeks of quotas and profiteering.

Or me as a coffee specialist... But I'd probably just bore everyone and the thread would be two pages tops.

If anyone has a question they can ask me here anyway.

I grew up there... Unless you want to mortgage your home, stay away from Disneyland. 🤣

But the SD zoo and animal park are great!

Plus, Long Beach has the Aquarium of the Pacific and that's amazing. Ooh... The Queen Mary is docked right next to Aquarium. Oh! And if you like the Grand Prix, it's held there too

Question #2
What would be your favourite landmark to visit in California?

👍 for The Hollywood Sign
😍 for The Golden Gate Bridge
🤣 for Redwoods

Edit: Thank you @cheekygirl75 ❤️
Hollywood is dirty AF. Rodeo Dr is just a fancy strip mall. SF is like walking through a maze of crack and meth heads. I think Methaniel and Methany live there.

Give me the serenity of the a Redwoods

I say this a lot....I should go more often. Like it's closer than the regular grocery store...it's next door to my daughter's work 😂 and i go like once a month at best
Well, it’s not the cheapest place - you couldn’t do your regular grocery shop there, really. So once a month or every other month is pretty good.

Yup! I got salted caramel mochi ice cream bites… I’m very excited for those!
Fun fact about mochi. In Japanese folklore there's a tale about a rabbit who lives on the moon making mochi. If you squint, you can sorta make it out.

In Autumn, mochi is seen as an offering to the Shinto goddess Inari to pray for a good harvest due to its divine associations.
