The Cozy Corner

When I drink tea, I always need to have a couple of cookies with it..I don't want cookies when I drink coffee.
I am just the opposite but it has been a long time since I drank tea. I cannot recall the last time I had tea, other than ice tea and that does not count in this conversation I assume. You all have had southern sweet tea I imagine?

When I have a cold, sometimes I love a little peach schnapps added to the tea....does help you get to sleep and it taste good in the tea.

Sweet tea is just too much for me..... I had one grandpa from North Carolina and one from michigan....the northern ones iced tea preference won (hed never talk about wwii EXCEPT to complain that on his way to europe on the ship they only had sweet tea and he hated it)

Southern sweet tea is too sweet for me. but then I don't like sugar in my tea or coffee.
But I've had my fair share of Long Island iced tea 🤣
Ohhh my, a few years ago, I had one of those and somehow, I'm not sure how, I wound up having like 3 of them and I had a tiny problem standing up. I haven't had any of those since then.

I haven't.

Unless you have a real sweet tooth stick with the Long Island.
"Authentic Southern sweet tea is a staple beverage made by brewing black tea bags (like Luzianne or Lipton) in hot water, dissolving 1–2 cups of sugar per gallon, and adding a tiny pinch of baking soda to remove bitterness. It is served cold over ice, often with lemon or mint."
