I like wrapping my asparagus in foil covered in butter and garlic. I let it simmer on the grille while my steak cooks. And always with potatoes.

I do that from time to time as well. I haven't prepped them with garlic yet, but I typically do a little butter and a kiss of olive oil.

Seeing all the pictures of the dogs makes me wonder if there is a regional preference to breed of dog. It seems everyone around me has either a German Shepard or Lab. But most of the photos have been Labradoodle, Cockapoo, etc.

Am I off base with the possibility that certain breeds are more favored in certain locations?

When I visit my sister, I swear her yellow lab has short term memory loss. He will bark at my vehicle parked in the driveway at 10-15 minute intervals.

I love all pics of your dogs! I've always loved animals and been around dogs enough to know I can't have one in my life since I don't have the time to spend with it. But I enjoy every minute I can spend with a dog.

The only dog I didn't enjoy spend time with was the dogs guarding the planes at night when I was in the Swedish Royal Air Force. They were locked in with the planes and was trained to let the trespasser in but not out. They were very scary!

But we have a cat in this household......
