There are countless others but those are a few of the most common.

Chimley would raise my blood pressure

One of my programmers thinks he's god's gift. He actually said once, "Programmers think up here" and held his hand up high above all our heads, "while y'all are thinking down here" and lowered his hand to table level.

He then went on to use the word "schema" and pronounce is as "shay-mah"

He used it. A lot. It was fabulous.

It wasn't until after he got married that he started pronouncing it correctly. His wife must like him.

It's always the most smug people who mess up the simplest of pronunciations.

There should be so much more cognizance of what a hot mess English is, linguistically. Contradictory rules, inconsistent spelling and pronunciation, exceptions to exceptions.
