This thread's very disappointing. I know that 672 has moments which make it very hard to like her, but she also has moments where it's easy. The purpose of this thread appears to be poking fun at a newbie (granted, a fairly confrontational newbie, but still) and it's not done any good for my opinion of several people on the board.

Call me a hopeless idealist (god knows I'm used to it from amicus), but I dislike writing anyone off as 'pitiful' or a 'dumbass'. I try to see their point of view, try to understand why they're acting as they are and try and create some kind of conviviality and friendly atmosphere, instead of ditching someone as a lost cause.

Maybe that makes me an idiot, I don't know. I just find it a little bit sickening that we'd have a thread on the AH started and dedicated to poking someone who's obviously not in a good place in their life.
