DA Willis responds to meadow's attempt to delay and move (or have dismissed) his court case... in a letter to his lawyer:

"Good Morning Mr. Moran," Willis writes in a reply to Meadows' lawyer's email. "I am not granting any extensions. I gave 2 weeks for people to surrender themselves to the court. Your client is no different than any other criminal defendant in this jurisdiction. The two weeks was a tremendous courtesy. At 12:30 pm on Friday I shall file warrants in the system. My team has availability to meet to discuss reasonable consent bonds Wednesday and Thursday."

One piece of information I'd like to see revealed from Trump's arrest processing: his weight.

215. No way. They had to have let him declare without actually putting him on the scales/

^ apparently someone doesn't know what Trump looks like and needs a picture so she can keep a sharp eye out in case he shows up to steal her knockers off the line.

a month ago giuliani and his lawyer visited trump to beg for help with paying legal fees. trump is said to have told him he'd help out, but no specifics re timeline or sums

trump has now planned a fundraiser at his bedminster golf course @ $100,000 a pop for 'america's mayor'; two things, here:

a shrewd (disingenuous) move to announce it to keep giuliani the faithful hound
and
how much will giulani's team see of this to pay the fees/fines...and how much of it will simply sit in trump's own coffers?

Subsequent to that, one of Trump's money pits, did give Giuliani $350.000 to help with his legal fees. But yes. Giuliani is someone Trump needs to keep happy. You'd think he would have learned that lesson with Cohen.

Judge Jones ruled clark's attorneys didn't have their law straight :D
In attempting to put the state proceedings on hold, Clark’s attorneys argued an automatic pause was required under federal law as Clark attempts to move courts. Prosecutors responded by saying the “effort misunderstands fundamental tenets of criminal law and procedure,” and the judge ultimately agreed.

"As the ongoing Fulton County criminal proceedings and forthcoming arrest warrant arise from the criminal indictment in a criminal action, Section 1455 governs,” Jones ruled. “And Section 1455 specifically indicates that, until the federal court assumes jurisdiction over a state criminal case, the state court retains jurisdiction over the prosecution and the proceedings continue despite the notice of the removal.”

Marc Short, Pence advisor and now heading up pence's political advocacy group, on meadows' role in Jan 6th:

“I think that in your last panel, I think it was it’s fair to say that Mark was the ringleader of much the events that happened around Jan. 6, he was somebody who was — the President sought to find additional attorneys who gave advice different than White House counsel, and it was very central to the events that happen on that day,” he added.

“And I think what’s often missed in the coverage is the weeks leading up that, in which the vice president made it clear that he did not think that there was some magical authority vested upon a vice president of the United States had never been used in 250 years of our republic that allowed him to overturn the election results,” Short said.

“So there had been a lot of conversations leading up to this, and Mark was central to pulling together many of those who were, I think, whispering falsehoods into the president’s ear,” he added.

Did you mean to say "knickers" here, Matlock?

Because using "knockers" does not make a lick of sense in any context, homie! :ROFLMAO:

To all the schmucks out there who strain the brain to be clever in your retorts to others, proofread your shit before you hit post, it will save you a world of chagrin.

Jeffrey Clark begs federal court to halt his arrest and 'perp walk' in Fulton County

The best part about this is that Clark's defense lawyer gave the judge a deadline to rule today by 5 pm so that Mr. Clark would not be subject to having to purchase an airline ticket at "walk up" prices.

Gave. The. Judge. A. Deadline.

It's worth noting that the attorney that Clark hired to represent him has ZERO experience in criminal law.....the lawyer's entire career has been spent in civil litigation.

Dis. Gonna. Be. Gud.
