The Grey and Black Wars

Selene looked livid at the fact that some little crappy kid had just run up and stolen that fucking box. She had been babysitting it and it's liberator all night and now he was just supposed to let it go? Her eyes turned to ice and the only reason she stopped was because of the handsome man next to her.

"There is no need. He stole a fake box. It was meant to be a swap for the real one but because of the guards that never happened."

He was whistling and being all merry so she felt the need to smile and take one of his hands in hers.

"I guess you're starting to show me how smart you can be..." She said as she gave that hand a gentle squeeze. "I am thinking we should head to the guild now," she said as she began leading the way. Of course she was sure that he knew where it was but she wanted to lead and so she did. But a strange think happened on their way back. An older man had the little thief in his grasp.

She stared at the boy who was forced to give them back the box and had to admit that she was quite surprised that he was actually doing it. And then with the guard in pursuit he was quick to leave.

"Look... they don't even know to look for you," she said to the human.

K'ahl Silvaris

K'ahl performed of all things a backflip to dodge the attack, he cleared the broken chairs and bits of debris and made a perfect landing on the bar counter.
He immediately executed a kick, crouching to put his weight in the blow. The impact was solid, if a little ill-guided. The pillar he hit began to tremble and soon the entire place was caving in, entombing the dead within. "I think It's time we go!" K'ahl yelled over the roar of the falling wood.
K'ahl stepped out of the path of a falling vase from a room upstairs. ... And the furniture that followed.
After a long silence spent on the dark and dusky city streets, K'ahl turned to Tirinath and said with a grin "Morpheus, I don't know Kung-fu."

"K'ahl you bloody idiot" tirinath exclaimed running to the tables and throwing Tove over his shoulder. He then ran out the door just as the second floor collapsed. "That was my favorite bar you drach'nyen" Tirinath put Tove down and after he calmed down he turn to Silvaris and said "You lose again K'ahl. Ive been telling you for years to get a proper Elven blade, that cleaver makes you fight like a half-orc." He then turned to the pretty human girl. "Are you alright lass?"

K'ahl Silvaris

Too shocked at the orc comment to make a proper comeback, K'ahl could only say "... It was a nice kick." Before he was lost in a fit of somewhat nervous laughter.
"What's got you laughing?"
Now convulsing in fits of laughter he managed "Tir," (Heh, heh, heh) "We just killed like three hundred people!"

"Not remotely, youthful exuberance leads to exaggeration im afraid." Tirinath said, cleaning his sword before sheathing it. "Whats more, your destruction has cost me many knives."

K'ahl Silvaris

Several minutes later K'ahl regained his composure and assumed a hurt expression. "It's not an orcish cleaver. It's a custom build Katana. It's a Nijanpo blade." K'ahl tuned back to the ruins of the Grinning Skull and couldn't help but 'think who's grinning now?' "Now there is a respectable culture. They have the pride of elves. Have you ever met a Nijanpo Warrior?" K'ahl stood up and began pacing on the rooftop they now stood on, well, so much for civil conversation. "About that discussion we were to have. Any other havens in which that might transpire?"

Tove made her way out from behind the table and up onto the roof. She looked at the men. "You guys are going to be in so much trouble." She said as she studied the havoc they had just unleased upon all of these men. She ran her finger through her hair and tried not to cringe as she wiped blood from her face.

"How could you kill them all?" She asked.

Dahlia, The Good Shepherd

"There's quite a few Dahlia," he said looking into her eyes. He could see how much she really was worried about him. "Listen... I'm sorry but you don't need to get involved in this," he said. "This war... it's getting worse and worse and... maybe you should just go back into exile..." He said. True he didn't want her to go deep deep down... But it would be safer...

"Quite a few prices?" Dahlia murmured. "And you're telling me I don't need to get involved?"

She shook her head.

"I don't care if there's a war on. I'm not going back into exile, especially if there are contracts on you!"

I left you once, Talon. I won't leave you again, no matter what you say....

"I think you're little girlfriend is going to tell on us." K'ahl teased.

She drew that blade Tirinath had given her and launched it at his friend. "Don't be a smartass... LIke I need to tell anyone, you idiots are fighting of the ROOF of a popular tavern!" She snapped.

Tirinath produced a clean rag from a belt pouch. "Here you go lass." he said, handing the girl the rag. "Simple really, take a blade and make sure you hit them with it." he said in regards to her question. Tirinath produced his pipe and lit it. "By the way lass, we were not properly introduced, my name is Tirinath Ta'aladrin of the Drakynmer or Dragon Elves if you prefer. You may simply call me Tir if you like. I am but a simple purveyor of mortality. I apologize but I seem to have forgotten your name." he said "K'ahl we shall return to my home, that will suffice for our discussion, and you will watch your manners in my home." He then turned to Tove "Apologies lass, K'ahl is not reknowned for his love of humans."

"Tove..." She said after a moment. "Tove DeCourt," she said as if mildly annoyed. She wiped her face free of the blood and waited to see if they would make her leave.

OOC: Wow EH, ... That's beatiful... :(

"Pardon me but who's Idea was it to put a pivitol support column in the centre of the walkway, not mine but thine, human. You're just lucky I don't sue!" He shouted with confidence, then turning to Tirinath he whispered "You did just give her the one knife right? Damn, you attract the craziest females. Remember Eladriel?"

OOC: No Japan?! WHAT?! why was this not mentioned when I posted Katana as my weapon? Nooooooooooo! Where from will I get my manga and other collectible bullshit? What sick world has though wrought o' God?!!!!!

"Tove is it? that is a lovely name, you may accompany me if you wish, my overzealous young friend seems to have destroyed your livelihood."

Talon knew that look she was giving him and he knew that she really wasn't going to leave him alone now... He had thought that back when they were just kids though. He trid to decide if it was worth it again, worth the pain he would suffer....

He would suffere a thousand tortures for the woman and just as many for all of his people. "You say you won't leave..." He said before patting her head.

"We shall see," he managed before walking away from her.

K'ahl Silvaris

K'ahl sighed. "It has been a long day. My head hurts."

OOC: Instead of Japan we can call it Napaj ok?

She frowned at the other elf. She crossed her arms and waiting for something else to throw at him to pop up. Of course the talk of attraction had her attention but it was not her place to comment.

"Maybe you're both idiots..." She said as they continued to talk. Sure, there was attraction but with how all of this was turning out she would likely have to set a bounty out for both of them...

Outside contracts of course.

"No need for name calling lass." Tirinath said as they walked. About 3 blocks away he suddenly stopped at a door and opened it. "Welcome to my home." he said holding open the door

K'ahl Silvaris

"..." Not speaking seemed as good a plan as any in the courtship of humans...

"Thank, you, dear friend." K'ahl gave a slight bow as he glided through the open door.

She was silent not saying a word as they went. She went into his house when the door was opened for her. She found a comfy spot in a nice chair. "So... Who are you two? And why were you in the bar?"

She was sure that she knew the reason but was curious as to what they could come up with.

Dahlia, The Good Shepherd

Dahlia reached for Talon, but her slender fingers only grazed his shoulder as he disappeared out the temple door and into the night. He was a ghost to her again, as he was engulfed by the slum's darkness.

"What do I have to do to atone?" she whispered.

Dahlia flipped up the hood of her dark blue cloak. She had to find a place to stay for the night. In the morning, she would start the hunt for the ones who had contracts on Talon.

I am your shadow she thought as she made her way out of the slums and looked for an inn to stay at. Until I am naught but dust....
