I'm counting 46, but was never good at math. Here in the US, the Superbowl is over, so we're just left with the dark hole that is February with a distant light of hope in the distance, but many cold days between here and there.

Come on, even you folks that like winter have to admit this one has been rough.

And it is not over yet. Listened to the news yesterday and they were saying February is going to be a snowy month...yikes.

I'm counting down with your numbers! LOL. I had heard 60 days more due to Phil not seeing his shadow. But hey, what do rodents know?

I love four seasons but I'm done with winter.

Yesterday they called for 4-6 inches of snow, then downgraded it to 3-5. It ended up raining in most places. This is another sign that winter's been too long and needs to end....The weather forecasters are getting delirious.

A disturbing trend in our forecasts recently is not so much snow, but them calling for freezing rain and sleet. Before, it's been to cold for that. Not sure what's worse....ice or snow.

The winter's been pretty rough on this side of the pond too - only we've just had it very, very wet! I live in a county that's been heavily affected by floods, and there's no sign of let up here either.

In my garden i have the first shoots of spring flowers pushing through, but i'm lucky - in a lot of gardens those bulbs are rotting in the ground.

Roll on some sunshine!
