I had this beautiful realization today. I really don't need to waste my time continuing to apologize to someone who I don't even really like, particularly when THEY are the one with the problem, really. At a certain point, I really don't even need to feel bad for offending them in the first place.

Well. That's a nice little relief in life.

The attention seeking brat and the stubborn, dig my heels in brat are having a war in my head today. Need to find the middle ground...*sigh*

Might I recommend the "shuffle-pout". It has worked well for me so far :p

hmmm, I'll have to try that. *sigh* a workaholic Master and a workaholic pet can lead to a great deal of difficulty coordinating schedules so time can be spent together.

I'm just having the most enjoyable, relaxing, do-nothing day. Man, I haven't posted so much here in eons! Eons I tell you.

Latest gumball to roll from the cranium...

On a wall in ancient China,
where a hidden Buddha blinks,
deeply graven is the message:
"It is later than you think".

The hands of life are wound but once
and no man has the power
to know just when those hands will stop,
at late or early hour.

The future's just a dream of hope;
the past, a golden link.
Go sailing now, my brother,
it is later than you think.

That one always gives me chills. Just emailed it to a sailor friend of mine and thought I'd share.

I really like that.

Nothing like a sunny sunday afternoon drive with my mouth around Daddys cock and then going to womens bible class with cum in my hair and not knowing until i ran my fingers through it while replying to someones question

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO going to hell!

I doubled my Synthroid dose the last couple of days (per MD orders) and my whole body felt irritable. So I attempted to densensitize the nerve endings by drinking roasted tasted almonds...(yeah, I know lots of calories but I did go on a wicked long hike yesterday and spent about 8 hours today raking leaves and otherwise preparing the house for the long cold winter)

It worked. I no longer feel like my body needs to scratch off it's skin. But I am a bit tipsy and in that I don't give a fuck mood which in my present circumstance can be quite dangerous...but ya know...

I don't give a fuck! :)

My question is - how did it get in your hair?

:cattail:

I hate feeling so damned emotionally vulnerable.

I used to be strong and confident and competent. And happy.

Now I'm all dark and moody and lately feel like I'm always on the verge of bursting into tears.

I hate it.

I have a behavior. I've always had this behavior but its gotten worse lately; and I realized today, much to my horror, that I think I use the behavior in much the same way as people who 'cut' use that behavior.

O.M.G.

LOL!!

I bet your face, when you realized what was in your hair was PRICELESS!

I have internet! I'm back and I've lots to read (because apparently I'm OCD and there are a couple of threads that I can't just skim over but I have to read every single post)! Yay!

A quick update: life here is generally good and I'm already almost half way done with my stay here. I love the city in all its weirdness, I've gained the required proficiency in the local language to be able to grunt back at the locals, I've cracked the toilet code (circle for women, triangle for men), made local friends and found some really cool cafes, book stores and galleries lurking in the crumbling down courtyards around the city.

University-wise things aren't that good, as there's this big obstacle of someone important for my research moving to Canada, but I've pretty much gotten over the disappointment and now treat my stay here as a 5 month paid vacation. ;) My actual responsibilities at the University are whopping 6 hours a week and the rest of the time I can do whatever I want, so this practically is a paid vacation. Might as well think of this as one.

But it's so good to be back! Off to read I go. :)
