Grey days and not much sun. Today was snow, tomorrow is freezing rain and Monday rain but temperatures go up to 18 C. Winters are very long, especially the last days.

looks like we missed the bad stuff... a bunch of rain, some flash-bangs and sky art but no damage anywhere. Didn't move the potteds and they're fine though the spent blooms already on the azalea have dropped (in place, so because of the rain).
The warmth and the wet has seen the small red-bud blooming where it was just bare sticks yesterday.
Potted up the sprouted asparagus bean seeds, turned the potted corn to help it grow straight and gave them a little water... they're mostly up and between 1" and 3" tall already.
H came home with what I thought were some scrubby looking shallots but they were red onion sets, so they're having a drink now and I'll plant them out maybe tomorrow.
