Being in love with the thought of someone sucks big time. It’s so shit that after all these years that bitch still comes to me in my dreams. And she’s happy and tells me she’s always wanted me and kisses me and holds me with her nice, big, tanned forearms. Fuck’s sake. She hardly even tans.

The reality is, the last time we messaged each other she apologised for treating me so poorly and then dropped more bombs and then said we should meet up. The fuck, man. I said I don’t think that’s a good idea. I was trying to be kind, and protect myself. From her. I didn’t say anything about a partner because I didn’t want to hurt her. I remember her telling me once that she’d always be jealous. Why tell me that.

The truth is I wanted to meet up, but I was so afraid of being “treated poorly” by her again. Being too weak to say no if she suggested something more. I couldn’t handle knowing she was with anyone else, either. Of course I did not tell her that.

I wish my stupid brain would just let her go.

That sounds a lot like Plantar fasciitis. Every once in a while I get that. Feel like I'm walking on a billion needles all at once when I first get up. It goes away w/ mins. There is a $20 boot to wear to bed that really helps w/ it. I'll wear it for 2 or 3 nights & it does help. Yes. Getting old stinks.

I suppose I ought to update my profile pictures to something in the 21st century.

first corn in, asparagus beans in, potatoes, onions, leeks and garlic all growing, 2nd batch of beans ready to go in and the rest of the corn not far off.

Usually I pot up the cuke seeds but maybe this year I'll grow them directly, same as the carrots.
