Visits from family. M and I have been eating like Knut the baby polar bear.

You might try BRAT first...my fam doesn't have Crohn's, granted, but they were pretty weak after that Norwalky thing (the diarrhea was the last to go) and it was pretty good at getting them back on an even keel, only took three days or so...
I never did get it, thankfully. We still have little unsweetened applesauce cups in the fridge - they bought more because everyone liked it, lol.
Either way, you know the drill - keep the fucking fluids up until you're floating!

BRAT? I'm probably being dense and will say 'duh', but what's that?

And I am keeping the fluids up. I've become dehydrated to the point of chest pains before and I have NO intention of that happening again if I can help it. But thanks for the advice. *hugs*

Ohhhhhhhhhh. In other words a soft foods diet. Yeah, maybe I will try that. I hate clear liquid diets.
 
Totally TMI note to anyone who has it coming "up north" instead of going "down south...." Puking rice is positively the worst experience i have ever had. :(

Crap...my last dose of the med. was at 9AM...WHY am i still so sick?????

OK, they have meds for your meds. Call your MD and demand an anti-nausea if you don't have one. I was offered one for 6mp just making me queasy.
 
WOO HOO I didn't spend my whole night shitting! :nana: I actually GOT some sleep last night. :nan:

Of course I woke up to a tummy cramp and went to the bathroom five times in the first half an hour - but that's ok if I get some FREAKEN sleep.

You asked for this *chuckle* Actually, I have started a new series of conditioning tapes - I hurt, too! Does it mean I'm masochistic if I admit to loving this type of pain? :D

I actually ate a sandwich and am feeling all right now. So hopefully I'm doing better. Diarrhea's still bad, but not as bad as it was. A lot less tummy cramps today . . . hopefully I'm on the mend. :nana:

I don't remember everything I ate, but I do know that I ate two turkey and swiss cheese sandwiches on croissant, and one of those had avacado. I bet that bumped my caloric intake UP. :D

another thing... remind me NOT to complain to A about doing push-ups, and how they are the root of alll evil. he just laughed and had me do 5 more.
 
My old youth group leader always made me do pushups for cussing. 25 pushups per word. I know for a fact that I could do 50 regular pushups and over 100 girlie pushups. I did them weekly.

Agh....PMS sucks....the headache from hell last night, woke up with cramps this morning....oh well at least it's started and I'm feeling better but still didn't get to the gym :rolleyes:

Nice hot shower and an early night for me I think, and I might get to the gym tomorrow, but we are insanely busy getting ready for the home dialysis machine we should have it by the end of next week :nana:
 
i have absolutly no upper body strenthgh and it took me three days to do 50 push ups in sets of ten.

and Sir W, your supposed to be on my side *stomps foot*

Mmm... I don't think so. The pushups and situps will be good for you - build upper body strength, tighten tummy muscles... sorry, kiddo.

MIS, I had to laugh when I read this. When I first started excersizing again, after a number of years + many pounds, it was impossible for me to do more than 5. But everytime I did them my strength increased and now I can easily do 50 in a session (that took a while, however). Just think of how good you'll feel when you can do 15 in a row, and then 20, and then... :D :D :D Neon (P.S., I'm really liking your A!)

That was just in highschool I could do that. I don't think I could do one pushup these days.
 
during the school year i go to the gym twice a week and do some runing, pkus a lot of abs and some biceps/triceps stuff.... so that should help with the sit ups and push ups too. BUT it does mean that between the gym, the dance class ill be taking, and the penalty for eating badly, ill be almost consitantly sore for the first month or so.

and yeah, i like him too. he wouldnt be who he is without his sadistic sense of humor, and i love him for it
 
M and I have a new motto. I have posted it in my office.

FOOD = FUEL
EXCERCISE = ENTERTAINMENT
SEX = REWARD

this will save us money, slim us down, and help us not forget to get it on!
