We were talking about resubmitting a 750 word story fleshed out. This one will WORK!

Personally, I love pranking the reader, and I try to work that into a story even though it's not an April Fool's joke.
Withholding a little bit of the plot to spring it on the reader at the last moment is a great prank that readers love​

So I put the proper Note To Admin on both of my submissions, identically, and both have just gone from Pending to New... but one is listed for 02 March and the other for 28 Feb.

Anyone else noticing that kind of discrepancy?

I only put mine in the day before in any contest I enter. I'd try messaging her because it would suck to have it release early as a regular story

My first contest entry hasn't been given a posting date yet. If I got one marked 28 February, I'd go ahead and PM Laurel about it, because that indicates the contest flag didn't take effect.

Yeah that's why I'm waiting til the day before to submit. Plus it gives me a few more days to tweak and edit lol.

My story has tweaked itself somewhat. Started out as a prank leading to a gangbang, but morphed into more of a revenge fuck leading to romance. Still working on it though.

Now it says both Pending and New. That's fun.

Damn, dude. Super adversarial for someone who hasn't even read the story. The point of this thread is to support one another in the contest. The point of my post was to announce my intention to participate. I think all this stuff is self evident and you just want to fight, but I'm not into fighting.

I submitted an Illustrated story on Sunday night. It was approved yesterday and posted today. It went to the top of the New list so I'm assuming it was accepted into the contest, but early.

Laurel fixed mine late last night; took about five hours from when I messaged her. I was worried about the east coast/west coast thing, so as a precaution I moved my story to the back of the line. Wasn't needed, but if you're worried about her getting back to you in time, it might be prudent.

Hmm. Make sure you check that it's on The List of entries, once that posts. Her message to me indicated that she was happy I had "caught a mistake" on her part, but there are at least three of us now with discrepant dates. So you might want to message her.

Gonna do one last pass at mine tonight then submit it either this evening or first thing in the morning.

It's kinda short, just over 3k words, and I wouldn't mind fleshing it out a little. But the premise can only really be drug out for so long considering the ending.

I really just wanna at least edit one last time for mistakes.
