But, MichChick, out of all of these top threads that you have named, how many of them still have the originators of the thread still posting to it as Scouries is still doing to his? Are the originators the highest number posters, or have squatters come in to take over the thread as their own? And, how about looking at the creation date. It's not fair to take a ten-year-old thread and compare those numbers to a newer thread.

The important figure, and one she conveniently forgot to report, is the ratio of views to replies. It gives you a pretty good idea of how popular each thread is. I’ve provided the numbers for the threads she so glowingly praised. The figures are pretty embarrassing! 6 or 7 views per reply? And that includes the poster herself?

The sad truth is that most of the threads mentioned are home to three or four or five nonwriters who spend their days posting endless inanities. Consider for example the “NAKED PARTY THREAD”. It’s hard to believe but three AHers (SW, VM and TE) have posted close to 25,000 replies on this one thread in less than 3 years! I’d like to see people like this spending a little more time learning to write real stories.

And the ABTRUSE thread is even worse if you can imagine. 60,000 posts by five lost souls (AB, 666, vella, a dead person and cloudy of all people). Write a story for crying out loud!

The only thing wrong with your math is that you are the one doing all the posting. Scouries, AKA Gabby, AKA Gabriella L. AKA Grand_High_Poobah. They are all one person. Add in Sarahhh and you've got enough people in your head for a basketball team.

Keep trying to put a positive spin on things. It ain't working because everyone already knows it's what you do best. Twisting numbers and facts to help keep that overinflated ego of yours pumped up.

The only problem is you get to be a bigger joke every single day.

miss babs, please don’t mind our friend from the upper penisula. She has no understanding of thread management or mathematics (and I’m afraid she got aunt tio to help her with the ones she posted).

The important figure, and one she conveniently forgot to report, is the ratio of views to replies. It gives you a pretty good idea of how popular each thread is. I’ve provided the numbers for the threads she so glowingly praised. The figures are pretty embarrassing! 6 or 7 views per reply? And that includes the poster herself?

The sad truth is that most of the threads mentioned are home to three or four or five nonwriters who spend their days posting endless inanities. Consider for example the “NAKED PARTY THREAD”. It’s hard to believe but three AHers (SW, VM and TE) have posted close to 25,000 replies on this one thread in less than 3 years! I’d like to see people like this spending a little more time learning to write real stories.

And the ABTRUSE thread is even worse if you can imagine. 60,000 posts by five lost souls (AB, 666, vella, a dead person and cloudy of all people). Write a story for crying out loud!

Not from the Upper Penninsula you bag of hot air. Unless you're as bad at geography as you are at math, of course. I've mentioned more than once that I live in the Detroit area.

Funny how you can figure out ratios of views to comments/replies, yet you still, after 3 years on the forums, can't properly quote a message. And the ratio of views to comments/replies has nothing to do with anything. The threads I mentioned kick the hell out of your thread, up and down and back again in so far as views and comments. What part of that don't you get? And what the fuck does being a writer on the site have to do with anything? And why do you continually post to the AH when you clearly hate it?

It's not ratios or anything else. Plain and simple we were talking about how many replies and how many views. The scouries thread is far, far, far, far away from being the #1 thread. Get over yourself already. Of course, we know your tiny little dick gets hard whenever numbers are mentioned, so I guess you had to make the comparisons to get your rocks off today, huh?
