There is no such thing as ScouriesWorld except in scouries head and there's nothing in scouries head but pure fantasy and ego. That explains why he's a multi-winner of his own contest.

from the asian girl thread...

FACT: Did you know that of the 24 monthly winners so far announced for 2009 (LIT has fallen a little behind) that 21 of them are chapters of much longer stories.
That it's now become almost impossible for a so-called "stand alone" story to win a monthly contest.

would like to take this opportunity to highlight the great work being done by Lady Reiha.

What better way to pass the time on a Sunday morning than on one of hher wonderful threads. Have you seen this one?

I didn't think Lit allowed duplicate posts in their system.

Tommy’s M-I-L…

Yes, Tommy’s tale of the seduction of his mother-in-law, a 2009 LOVING WIVES category story, has now sold more than 100,000 copies, the number required to be labeled a LITEROTICA best seller.

Congratulations boss!

And for your information: jim is now hard at work on chapter 2, I mean the sequel, no I mean the second part of the serial, no wait… (fuck, what did that jaymal guy call his to get it around the rules?) … and hopes to enter it in the summer luvin’ contest…

Including stories no longer up on LIT I’ve received approximately 115,000 votes on 15,100,000 views.

Which translates to about 0.76% (See list below for most of my stories still up on LIT)

darkboy made a very telling point – we don’t know exactly what a view is. And the QUEEN :cattail:, for whatever reason, has never been willing to clear the matter up. My own feeling is that VIEW numbers on the site are inflated 5 to 7 times.

SOME OBSERVATIONS:

My MATURE category stories have received relatively high percentages. The three I still have up are at 1.45, 1.87 and 0.84.

I have one LOVING WIVES story at 1.76 but others at 0.42, 0.72, 0.39 and 0.75. No pattern to them at all.

I have an INTERACIAL story that the authorities put into the INCEST category. I assumed readers would never vote for it but it’s got almost 1000 votes, has an H and a percentage of 1.28. You just never know!

My lowest rated story of all time at 3.83, was another the authorities put in the INCEST category – death for its rating given there was no incest whatsoever in it. Still, it’s amassed over 900 votes and a respectable 0.88 percentage.

My highest percentage receiver, at 3.22, is an EROTIC COUPLING story but that may be deceptive since it was a second chapter and chapter one was a INCEST category story. The second chapter had far fewer views but about the same number of votes.

My one remaining ROMANCE story is at 1.01.

The top vote getting story in LITEROTICA history, “Daddy”, I Whispered, is now at very respectable 1.31 but for the first year it was up was at 2.40. Over time, as our smart Texan pointed out, best sellers seem to slide downwards. I credit most of this to readers who come back to read the story for a second or third or fourth time.

My second top vote getter is only at 0.53 which seems very low but again it did start much higher (1.50) before tumbling.

One of my lowest stories percentage wise (0.25) is one of my most popular. It has almost 400,000 views and is less than 10 votes short of joining the 1000+ vote club. I had the son (it’s a mother/son story) unexpectedly kill his father late in the story and I believe this stopped many readers from voting. But they still come back for second reads.

In another Incest story I slipped in a gay scene right at the end – it killed the rating and the number of votes made.

VOTE PERCENTAGE versus RATING: There doesn’t appear to be any correlation between the rating my story gets and the vote percentage it receives. Some of my lowest rated stories got relatively higher percentages while others got some of the lowest ones. And my highest rated stories often have some of the lowest percentages.

Nor does the number of votes received correlate to the percentage.

Nor does a stories position on my story page correlate.

In the end it’s a crap shoot to guess what a new story might get in terms of VIEWS, VOTES or PERCENTAGE.

Grand_High_Poobah is Scouries in a blow up doll suit, one of his many alts.

Since there is no such thing as the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS (A.I.R.) associated with or from Lit, except in scouries head, it can't sanction anything but Scouries usual hot air.

Since scouries and company can't win a REAL contest, he makes up his own list of winners.

I'm trying to finish a story these days - unfortunately it's turned into the never-fuckin-ending story... the more I write the further I seem from the end.

I need an incentive .... like those two beauties above.

but what's with the babes fingernails?

A comment from my Summer Lovin' story:

Unfortunately my dear...

...the story was REJECTED by the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDANT READERS. That doesn't mean that we disagree with what the other commentors posted. And of course you're still eligible for the other contest... good luck, Gabby

First off, drop the stupid "Gabby" moniker scouries, everyone knows it's you. Second, I told you I didn't want my name associated with your asinine make believe contest in any way and I demanded you remove me from any lists you have.

So instead, you decide to pollute my story with your comment above. Well, sorry wonder boy, it's been deleted.

Take your make believe contest and your useless comment and shove them up your ass.

Is that plain enough for your pea-brain to understand?

Yes, "Ohhh Mommy" passed another one last night and is now at #6 on the all-time most reads list.

Sadly, looking at the numbers of those still ahead of "Ohhh Mommy", it doesn't look like the story will be able to climb any higher. But I would like to thank the millions of LITEROTICANS who made this all possible. It's been a great ride!

Have a great day everyone,

The only intent of this thread is to stroke Scouries ego.

It's also here so he can keep practicing his copy and paste skills. Maybe once he gets tired of the "new trick" he learned, he'll learn how to properly quote a message.

Here’s the latest monthly results (although not latest in any sense of timeliness).

Some good news this time with the bad. The good? Some new authors. And two of the stories have a significant number of votes (at least now, one year later). And for once we didn’t have chaptered stories winning.

I think the good QUEEN :cattail: is starting to listen to the deafening silence that has accompanied most of her monthly announcements. That she’s finally starting to accept that the stories she’s historically named winners aren’t fooling anyone.

That simply offering these fops to her toadies is a disservice to the site.

The bad news is we’re still getting the winners from the less popular categories and not from the important ones. Still, on the whole, this is a step in the right direction. And with a little more tweaking of the system, and a commitment to announce winners in a more timely manner, we might just get back on track.

Well I was doing some work on the A.I.R. Monthly Awards today and I found some interesting information.

As most of you now know A.I.R. applies a “Category Coefficient of Correction” to potential “highest rated” stories so that we can compare them fairly. While the original “coefficients” relied heavily on the groundbreaking work of Owlwhisper, we’ve also committed ourselves to making sure our “coefficients” reflect what’s happening in the here and now world of LITEROTICA.

So we use the “30 day” lists, info that has only become available since MANU started publishing these lists, to make sure our “coefficients” are accurate.

Guess what I found?

Do you know that in the last thirty LITEROTICA days that 54% of Sci-Fi and Non-Human stories earned H’s?. Or that 51% 0f Romance ones got H’s? Or that 91% of all stories entered in these three categories were rated 4.00 or higher? I know, it is hard to believe.

And what about the IMPORTANT and POPULAR CATEGORIES?

Well, only 20% of Erotic Coupling Stories got H’s.

Only 18% of INCEST ones got one.

And the poor Loving Wives authors – only 4% of those got one.

I also ran the median score for each of these categories. Here they are:

SCI-FI/NON HUMAN 4.53
ROMANCE 4.50
INCEST 4.24
EROTIC COUPLINGS 4.22
LOVING WIVES 3.72

After seeing the above is it any wonder that our AHers always enter SCI-FI/NON HUMAN/ROMANCE stories in our contests.

And that’s why we apply our “coefficients”. So everyone is treated fairly.

That’s the A.I.R. way.

Since scouries and company can't win a REAL contest, he makes up his own list of winners. As you can see above he boasts of being a Multiple A.I.R. AWARD winner. Guess who picks the winners.
