I used to be way into halloween but I haven't dressed up in what seems like centuries.

have you ever seen the movie mean girls? there's a part where lindsay lohan's character gets invited to a party and in the voiceover she's talking about how halloween is the one time of year when high school girls can dress like a slut and no one says anything....

if that's true, I think every day should be halloween.

had you shakin in your boots that I only talkin about the "C" holiday huh? lol.... Although I happen to love that holiday.... with the fluffy first snow.... Although I dread.... the "I" word....

I've not seen "mean girls" lol but ya know that's so true.... and can see how more guys than you would like "every" day to be halloween lol

I normally dress up some how ~ just a little bit for when I pass out candy to the little heathens... ooops I mean trickesters lol

I can understand what you're saying. I have kind of a love/hate relationship with the day, myself. I know it's not supposed to be all about money and presents, but I hate that I'm never able to give people the things I'd really like to give them.

and, I'll admit to being a greedy bastard... I like getting presents, too and the last decade or so has been pretty slim pickings. I also wish I had someone special in my life even more around that time of year... sometimes it's hard to think about the good things, like family being together. and, of course, that can sometimes be a bad thing, too. lol.

as for the snow.... if I didn't have to get outside I would love it. it is awfully pretty, seeing a blanket of new fallen snow. it sucks to drive in, tho, and because of where I work I'm considered "essential personnel" so I don't even have the snow emergency excuse that a lot of people have for not getting out and going to work during a blizzard.

then again.... it never seems like christmas without snow... so I always find myself hoping it snows an inch or two late on christmas eve and then gets up to 70 degrees the day after. lol.

that would be "ICE" *shudders*

that I don't like at all....especially "black ice" I was in a pretty nasty accident all due to black ice on the freeway ~ forunately I was the only car/truck involved. But did around $5,000 worth of damage to my vehicle... which sucked and then the manufacturer went on strike ~ my vehicle didn't get fixed for over 3 months.... sucked big time and not in a good way either lmao....
