well, guess I can't make the call about it being stronger to not ignore... all I know is I give the fools so much rope and then, when simply the act of seeing them post is a waste of my limited time, the ignore button comes to bear. Both of us have been here many years, Twinkle, and know the fools I speak of and just how repetitive they become over time. When they have zero to offer me in getting me to think about what they've posted, then to read them is a waste. I'd sooner be reading more interesting minds, nicer people, kinder souls, more intellectually witty posters. Plus it gives me wrist ache keep having to scroll past masses and masses of those fuckers I don't read, so I dunno about 'strength' but it certainly suits my mental well-beingTo ignore or not ignore.
Are you weak because you have used ignore? Are you a stronger mentally because you haven't used ignore? If the option is available and you value your way of life, do you ignore or don't hit ignore?
I really want to hit ignore on anything I deem not worth my time because the option is available. If it is not then I do my best to avoid it or simply ignore it mentally.
Do I do what's right for me? Fucking take it up the ass? What makes someone mentally, emotionally and intellectually strong online? Using the ignore/block feature or not using it?
I should have added 'in general' in there. you gotta do what keeps your head happiest.

Do what’s right for you.To ignore or not ignore.

Don't know. This is my thread.why was the initial "blurt-thread" isolated?
Thank you, Noor.Do what’s right for you.

On here I don't need to.Ignore is neither strength nor weakness. For me, it is survival and agency. I don't use it that much though. How about you?
Same to you Twink!

The day sounds much more fun!A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife, looking at
herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked what
she'd like to have for her Birthday.
"I'd like to be six again", she replied, still looking in the mirror.
On the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl
of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day!
He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the
Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, everything there was. Five hours later they staggered
out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down.
He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with
extra fries and a chocolate shake.
Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy,
M&M's. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her
husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He leaned over his wife with a big smile
and lovingly asked, "Well Dear, what was it like being six again??"
Her eyes slowly opened and her _expression suddenly changed. "I meant my
dress size, You dumb ass!"
