My friends and I always make fun of each other in a teasing and funny way for the crazy habits we have or the weird things we do, so I thought it would be fun to see what things Litsters do as well. Just remember you can laugh but be nice!

I cannot under any situation drink after another person, especially kids. If you drink from my straw or cup, it's yours.

I am terrified of snakes. I don't even like watching movies with snakes in them.

I had an accident years ago in my late teens. Head injury. I have an awful time remembering dates... especially with things in July.

I am naked a lot around my apartment but I almost always have socks on. Even the pic in my avatar, I have socks on.

My feet are always cold.

I'm terrified of spiders and normally scream when one comes near.
The temperature on my hair straightener has to be an even number.. I can't do odds. lol ugh

^^^^ Coincidence but true.

I was on a lucky streak for a while... two consecutive apts I had... there were girls across the street/back lane... who used to be naked a lot in their apts... with sheer blinds... or verticles that they left at the right angle i could see right in.

This one sounds exactly like something one of us would do. lol

If a premade food package says to put it in the microwave for 10 minutes, I will do it for 9. Then the next time 8, just so I can see how much time I can save on getting it done.

I have to do odds, can't do evens.
(no straightener here, I love my curly hair!! :nana:)

it bugs the freakin' snot out of me that I had 8 kids and not 7 or 9 lmao :D

My friends and I play the death game.

We pick random things each of us are going to die from, which are usually funny. But when at the bar we pick random people and try to decide how they are going to die. Last night I started laughing so hard at one of my friends ideas for a guy at the bar that I hyper ventilated and had to sit down.

okay, yeah, that's a little weird ha ha ha! :D

I have a thing for symmetry. All my books have to be stack by height. And when turning the volume up or down on anything it has to be 5's....not 24 or 26 but 25 or 15. Lol

I can only use even number when using the volume on the TV

I cannot sleep if I know a light is on anywhere in the house

I can't take 'naps'

If freaks me out if I wake at 3:15 in the morning, because that's when the crazy guy murdered his family on Amityville Horror. I will dwell on that til I fall back asleep.

I sleep with one leg curled outside the duvet

I can't have my hands hanging over the bed ever since I read James Herbert's The Rats as a teen

You wake up around that time because biologically we are programmed to wake just before dawn - it's also the worst time for asthma attacks

I am a mine of useless facts

I can't eat Skittles at the movies because I always eat them two at a time of the same color, alternating sides of my mouth, saving the reds for last.

it's too dark at the movies to see the colors

I absolutely love snakes (sorry Last_Sunrise) and have two, 3 year old cuddly corn snakes. If your down, depressed or had a bad day, handling them makes everything all better.

I can not and will not ever eat processed cheese slices.

I will never own a 4 door car. Although hubby's 300C is an exception.

L:rose:

No, I rarely wake up at that time, but the once a year or so that I do, gives me the heebie jeebies. Also, living where I do, dawn is irrelevant, because dawn can be 3:00 a.m. in the summer or 9:00 a.m. in the winter.

Well I guess I can stop trying to solve my "troubling problems" now.

Numbers have to be multiples of 5--my hubby told me once that he didn't think I'd stop the microwave on 17 seconds if something was on fire in there. Even stuff like the TV or stereo volume that is only shown while you're setting it? I can't sit still if I know it's on a 'wrong' number.

When I start looking for something--even stupid unimportant stuff--I cannot stop until I find it. I've learned to be really good finder because (as the aforementioned hubby pointed out) I'll go right on looking for the small wooden spoon while the house burns down around me.

There are no little lights or LEDs in our bedroom. (Not since I got a roll of electrical tape anyway.) The clock isn't illuminated. Any little red or green light shining out of the darkness when I'm trying to sleep seems evil.

Those are the ones that make me sound the least crazy (because I'm not really crazy. I'm just unique.)

I will pour a handful of M&M's or whatever colored candy and will eat the one I have most of first until I get the same amount of each. Then I eat one of each to keep them even.

When I'm walking down a flight of stairs, I have to end with my right foot. Walking on a sidewalk, step over the cracks with my right.

When I heat something in the microwave the time has to be set with an odd number.

I can't sleep with lights on, tv or radio. Shut everything down and make it dark. (though not sure if that's weird).

I had a favorite blanket when I was a small child...white with knots in it...carried it everywhere...cried when it was getting washed and then waited at the dryer until it came out afterwards. The blanket kept getting smaller and smaller as more and more of it were snipped away from fraying.

Anyways, all my life, even to this day, I have a "things" for the feeling of a knot under my fingernail...I like playing with knots...so blankets I own now that have knots are frayed and torn like when I was a kid....

When I first moved out on my own, I often had the sudden realization of being alone and the noises of the apartment building would send images in my head of someone breaking in or that someone was in the other room. I would turn the tv on to something familiar and I would fall right to sleep. To this day I rarely sleep without the tv on and if I have to, I will toss and turn for hours.
