Feeling dumber just because someone mentioned 50 Shades Of Grey.

I'm going to see that movie, much as I went to Divergent and Twilight, and I'm expecting it to be a million times worse than both of those.

I'd be shocked if they didn't. I expect the dialogue to be so comical it doesn't need that much help, though. Honestly, I'm a movie junkie. I see almost everything that comes out to theaters.

I'll see this one.

But I just know it's going to be absolutely awful.

It has GOT to be better than the book. I was trying to read it, and I was getting to work so fucking sad I had to stop. It was doing things to the english language that were so completely horrific that I wanted to go back to bed and cry.

I read a page and a half in Barnes and Noble and walked away. The thing is, though, the story is rambling and melodramatic and awful. The entire premise is something we'd write on a porn board here and enjoy. It doesn't have enough depth to be worthy that many pages.

So how the hell is it going to work on screen?

And with characters so unrealistic - how are the actors going to do anything worth watching?

I don't know. Maybe I'm just being overtly pessimistic - but honestly that's a bit on purpose. When I'm getting ready to see a movie I know is going to be awful I want to make sure my expectations are all but entirely gone so I might find something to enjoy in it.

I have no idea who is even in it. I know they had trouble casting the male lead, but that is literally all I know about it.
If they are smart, they'll ignore the source material and just use the back cover blurb.

Dr. Google says it is Dakota Johnson and provided pictures. No, she is not cute enough to overcome the source material on her own.

She was self-conscious about her breasts. So, I understand the surgery. Although, trust me, her breasts are perfect as they are. I think she's going to go too big, though. And I really am turned off by the look of fake breasts.

She was self-conscious about her breasts. So, I understand the surgery. Although, trust me, her breasts are perfect as they are. I think she's going to go too big, though. And I really am turned off by the look of fake breasts.

I guess this is really up to you. If it is going to make you unhappy to be with her, then you have a legitimate reason not to be with her. Don't make yourself miserable.
