Performance issues:

In an MFM, performance issues would be bad but not devastating. In an FMF, after closing the deal on making this happen, performance issues would be horrific.

Disappointing more than one person at a time might be too much for my fragile ego to deal with!

My first experience with a threesome I would classify as an "unexpected threesome." We had talked about it, that it was something she wanted to happen, but not the when and the how. So I was a bit surprised when, as she was finishing me off, her husband was suddenly there. I felt really awkward and exposed, and excused myself to clean up. Only later did I learn that he had been in the room the whole time, watching. I know it wasn't exactly as anyone had planned, but I know she enjoyed it. From experience, there isn't really anything to be fearful of. Well, not as long all people involved know that they are participating.

The self-conscious aspect was what I feared the most. That I would be directly and completely compared to the other woman. But it wasn't really like that in the end. More like a celebration of diversity and uniqueness.

I wouldn't make it a frequent occurrence, however. I think jealousy would definitely be a possibility. And no one likes that.
