Havasau has a really nice course.

What a blast we would have!!!! Don't forget this. We WILL find a time to meet!

I WILL remember. And I have never been to Lake Havasu. (Or the Grand Canyon, for that matter - after 15 years of living here...sheesh...) And we will have a blast...my game improves exponentially with Bloody Mary's. And yours? :D

Bloody Mary's... a woman after my heart!!! I get sexier too after several of those. Just ask me. LOL

OH good. I was yelling all alone here! He's just an absolute joy to watch. A swing that brings tears to your eyes... until this last tee off. That looked painful and scary... He looks like he's hurting.

Yeah, that Tiger eagle was one of the greatest putts ever. I yelled.

I tried to call you and your line was busy!!!!

I was yelling YESSSS!!!!!

oh man what a read that one just now was... almost.

Tiger is soooo fun to watch!

Two of the guy friends I play golf with sometimes: Bob and Kim.

Bob is color blind.
Kim plays with yellowish green balls... on purpose.

Bob can never see where Kim's ball is. It was a while before Bob figured out what Kim was doing...

LOL

They don't mind that I play by no rules.

Hey there! I am so totally sexy after a few....
(but you do know I don't do girls, right? ) But I do have cute golf skirts in my wardrobe.....

Anyway, I was sort of sad after Phil's 9 on the same hole. I guess I want everyone to have a happy ending.

OTH Tiger is just such a joy to watch. And not just 'çause he's cute. What a wonderful example of golf as an athletic endeavor....

Although...Tiger, cute as he is....is not my golf crush.....someone else on the circuit is....

Come now, spill it. :D

I remember my recovery from knee surgery a few years ago and watching Woods hit it 360 yards on a fragile knee is simply blowing my mind. I wonder if he'll continue his streak of wins when he holds the lead going into the final round.

For Tiger to be in the lead after 54 holes, in as much *obvious* pain as he's in, is nothing short of phenomenal. I so hope he gets the rest, ice, compression and elevation he needs to come out and do it again tomorrow. Really, think of it. He's eight weeks off knee surgery, obviously in severe pain after almost every shot, unable to use a substantial part of his "weapons" (different types of shots), and he's in front of about 60 of the (other) best golfers in the world. Amazing. If and when I reincarnate, I want to do it as him. (I know that's not possible, but ... what the hell.)

You heard him tell the guy it's hurting more every day.

He's just phenominal. And if I could spell that right, I'd say it again.

We just have more and more in common all the time... I don't do girls, either.

Golf is great fun when it's got like Dragons that move and stuff like that!

Otherwise, it's not so much fun for me.

Torrey Pines sounds like a porn star btw.

Just sayin'

This year the Ryder Cup is staying in Kentucky.

A crippled Tiger in the final pair feeling the presence of his father looking down on Father's Day. Who could ask for more than that?

You have the greater players but we have the greater team spirit! Should be a good one.

One of the commentators on the U. S. telecast made the point yesterday or Friday that Europeans were doing very well, as they often do at major championships. A quick experiment using the leaderboard as it exists right now prior to Round 4 shows that the top ten Americans in the field hold positions ranging from 1 to T19. The range for the top ten Europeans runs from 2 to T58. That seems to support the idea that the American team is generally deeper. My guess is that a similar experiment would produce similar results for the three major championships played on our side of the pond. I think that The Open tends to inspire stronger performances from Europeans, though this is a guess on my part.

Now, why it is that the Americans don't simply kick ass year in and year out in the Ryder Cup is a baffling mystery.

I think the main reason for the us teams shortcomings in recent ryder cups is captaincy. Our captains tend to be a little more inspiring than yours.
P.S worked at gleneagles for one year awsome course! The scots invented the game!

The Cup will have to be brought to Kentucky by the Europeans first, my friend. And if it's won by the Americans, I suspect that it will be spending most of its time in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

I couldn't help but think of Ben Hogan yesterday as I watched Tiger play his back nine. The limp in his gait, the pain on his face with his fullest shots reminded me of the pain that Hogan played with for the last third of his career. And even under those conditions, his season in 1953 was one of the best in the history of the game.

Are we talking the Gleneagles resort where the 2014 Ryder Cup will be contested? Now that's a fine looking course. Golf at that level gives me a hardon. ;)
