Morning all. Went to work for the first time yesterday... I've been doing nothing for too long! Thankfully i have mondays, wednesdays and saturdays off so I can chill for today at least.

My grasp on reality (tenuous before) is now totally gone...
I keep on writing in Chinese now. It's quite strange. My Chinese reading abilities have increased so much, thanks to Mars. Sound quality of downloads isn't that great, so I have to half-listen, half-read the chinese (traditional, and I do simplified!!) subtitles. Hence, improvement.

The soundtrack's really nice too. I like the ending song, it's so sweet! The opening song's a bit more.. daunting? but the end song is just one that will make you go 'aw!'

Chen Ling is, give or take a little, my perfect man. Isn't that just awful?

The isle of man, isn't that the tiny island that has its own laws and taxes. The only place with no speed limit? nope, can't say i've seen anyone from there before, so maybe your the first gidderwook, but welcome anyways.

Learning chinese, its all to foreign if you ask me, i struggled learning french. Je voudrais un coca cola was as much as i picked up!

Freezing cold here too, I had to put the fleece lining in my uniform jacket for the first time since about March, & I'm only outdoors for the few minutes it takes to walk from the bus stop to work!

I work for Royal Mail, in the enquiry office at York Mail Centre (the office you go to when we've tried to deliver something but you were out). At least the shift I'm on (afternoon/evening) means I don't have to get up early like the guys who do delivery (they start around 5am ), so I get more time in bed with LL

Is it always busy at yours? the one in leicester is a bloody nightmare most of the time, i dont work there just go there infrequently to pick stuff up.
Tell me about the hours my old job was a 7am start thats plenty early for me, the only upside was finishing at 4pm.But now i've got promotion i dont start til 8 or 9 unless i'm on late then its 1 or 2 downside is finishing later 5 or 6 when on early and 10- 10.30 when on late.
Retail dont you just love it?
