Under 25 Net Buddies

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Nice to know I won't be kicked out of here on my b-day!! I actually went out with friends friday night (don't get to do that much anymore do to work schedules). We drank, and danced, drank more, danced more, and apparently I kept passing out business cards (interesting voicemails at work this morning, lol). Don't remember much after the bar closed. Good times, but I definately can't do that every weekend. I paid for it Saturday!!!!!!

Ah, I'm but 21 and would be tickled to meet just the sorts of people this thread is dedicated to. Of course, there's little reason for anyone to up and message me, I guess, but...ahm...I have a profile? And more interesting ones elsewhere?

You can find me on Yahoo (OvertHumanist).

I'm sure we'll all find some reasons, but just to be sure, you should list a couple of them here to give us a bit of a tease!

22 male here from Atlanta. Are there actually females on this site around my age because I haven't encountered many...

Maybe it's easier to find other women when you are one? I don't know, but I have no trouble at all. :cathappy: Welcome.

Me either! By the way I love your AV. :) Very lovely.

It's not hard to find anyone.. just time consuming to find people with similar interests in a nearby location *chuckle*

I actually agree with that. I've tried to find other UMass people on Lit over the 2 years or so I've been on, and I've found 4 total...which may seem like a lot, but here's the catch.

One turned out to be so not my type of person, one I actually met briefly at work, but she ended up moving to DC (I miss you BP!!), one just cybered with me and then never really talked again, and the final one seems like a nice guy, but I'm not sure if he'll talk to me again either. I wish I could find someone to just drink coffee with and be a friend.

I hear ya. I'm from a small town, so I pretty much know everyone in my age range around here.. I wouldn't mind finding new people to talk with from the towns near me, just to get away from the norm of day to day life in the small town..

There are numerous Canadian threads, but not many from my area, closest I tend to get is Toronto, which is 5 hours away.

Go figure. I'd think that Ontario would be a popular place (or do you live in a small town near there?).

Ontario is the province ;) It's bigger than Texas, with less people mind you.. but we're all spread out.

Blah, I know so little about Canada. I always think Ontario is a city. >.<

It's all good :)

I live 2 hours away from Ottawa, our national capital, and 5 from Toronto, our provincial capital.. Also 4 hours or so from Montreal, which is a great place to party I've heard..

Unfortunately, I don't drive, so I don't go to any of those places *chuckle*

Montreal is the greatest place to party...granted, I'm biased, I'm a native, hehehe

Well, hello again :) How are ya tonight?

I have to sadly say I've never partied in any city, so I would have nothing to compare it too to know if it were the best :p

I've been told that too, but I'm not really a party person...at least not yet. I'm such a goodie two-shoes that I don't really drink yet (I had a few sips of random stuff over the last 3 years but nothing that qualifies as a drink)...waiting till I'm legal. But maybe someday I'll experience Montreal.

Nothing wrong with that.. I didn't even start drinking when I turned legal age.. Which is 18 where I lived at the time..

Besides, partying isn't always about drinking.. It's about the mood.. the atmosphere.

Anyways, I need some rest, gotta work tomorrow. Take care everyone :)

Well, the only party's around here involve drinking and I don't like to be sober in a room full of drunk people. My idea of a party is some wings, my friends, and Sex and the City. :D

The great thing about the city is just how many things you can do here, you can stay up all night drinking coffee with friends or go dancing and then go eat the best food at 4am or... it's just a great party place in general! (can you tell I love my city!)
