You know, the bullets, without the gun, are damn near useless, unless you are really good with a slingshot.
I have guns. Nice ones, I'm told.

Okay, first of all it is Beretta. Glocks are just plain ugly.
Secondly, I agree on single issue voters. That's why I have to shake my head at the pro-abortion crowd's hysteria that John McClain will end abortion. It didn't happen during Reagan's 8 years, or George Bush seniors 4 years, or George Bush 2's 8 years with one of the most conservative supreme courts in history. By the way let me make this clear up front, I am NOT anti-abortion. I believe other than the mother and the father of the unborn it is no one's business whether they keep it or abort it.
If you are thinking about an AR-15 let me suggest you look at a Springfield Armory M1A Scout rifle in 7.62 mm. An awe weapon in a little more serious caliber.
Yup, I like my guns as much as anyone else. But I don't see why anyone needs a tripod mounted 50 caliber machine gun on their roof.
For deer?
Self defense?
What?
Vote republican if you want to let freedom ring! Vote republican to keep your GUNS!
That is all![]()

I'm an outlaw, so even if guns are outlawed, I will still retain mine. Whichever party would forbid them can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead hands.

It won't matter if the Republicans or Democrats win in November as far as me having guns. I'm an outlaw, so even if guns are outlawed, I will still retain mine. Whichever party would forbid them can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead hands.
I collect guns, I have my great grandfathers guns....they are SPECIAL to me! I hunt, I fish and my guns are in my home for protection! I also have a permit to carry a concealed weapon! The reason? To protect myself from the fools with stolen guns, gang members, thugs, home invasions....taking guns away from innocent people would only give the bad guys the upper hand since you know they will not comply with any law!
The constitution says WE have the right to bear arms.....and with the republicans I know that WILL continue!![]()

And where do you think criminals get their guns?

why do,nt they have a day when you can all come out and blaze away with you guns and if you kill more then a hundred people you get a free get out of jail card for reducing the gun totting population,
Some slingshots are powerful enough to shoot through metal. Hardcore style.

I like this story....it acurately portrays the liberal philosophy:
The ant and the grasshopper:
OLD VERSION . . .
The ant works hard, in the withering heat, all summer long.
He builds his house and stores supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks that the ant is a fool.
He laughs, dances and plays the summer away, preparing nothing for the coming winter.
Winter comes, the ant is safe and warm.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
The moral to the story being: BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF!

NEW VERSION . .
The shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and fed, while others are cold and starving!
CBS, NBC, ABC & CNN show up to provide pictures of shivering grasshoppers, next to a video of an ant
in his comfortable home, with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast! How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor
grasshopper is allowed to suffer this way?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah, with the grasshopper.
Everyone cries when they sing "It's Not Easy Being Green".
Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house, where the news stations film the group
singing "We Shall Overcome".
Jesse then has the group pray for the grasshopper's sake, and reminds the group to contribute to his group, so that he can "continue the fight" for grasshoppers, everywhere!
Ted Kennedy & John Kerry exclaim, in an interview with Tom Brokaw, that the ant has gotten rich, off
the back of the poor grasshopper!
Both call for an immediate tax hike, to make the ant pay "his fair share"!
Finally, the EEOC drafts the "Economic Equity For Grasshoppers Act", retroactive to the beginning of the
summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire the proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to
pay his retroactive taxes, his house is confiscated by the government.
Hillary Clinton gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper, in a defamation suit against the ant.
The case is tried in federal court, with a jury comprised of unemployed welfare recipients.
Surprise! The ant loses the case!
The story ends, as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant's food, while the government house he lives in (which happens to be the ant's old house) crumbles around him,
due to lack of maintenance!
The ant has disappeared in the snow.
The grasshopper is found, dead, in a drug-related incident.
The house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders, who terrorize this once-peaceful neighborhood.
The liberal/progressive philosophy regards all of us a "Human Beings", not insects.
But if you wish to be regarded as an industrious "ant", by all means feel free to do so. Ants are socialists.
You tell me. If a responsible gun owner has his guns in a locked gun safe how is anyone stealing them? Mine are locked up, either in the gun safe or with trigger locks. Well, except for the one I keep by the bed at night. (I live in a rural area where the police may be as much as a 1/2 hour away. If it happens in the middle of the night I am the law, at that moment, in my home.)
No criminal is stealing any of the fully automatic weapons they have from ordinary citizens so where are they getting them? Black market, smuggled into the country, what?
Gun control has failed miserably because it doesn't, and never has, address the issue that making more laws to restrict the rights of those already OBEYING the law doesn't end gun violence. It is the simple fact that criminals don't care what the law says, and never have, that seems to escape the genius of our politicians. You want to end gun violence? Seriously? Then come up with FEDERAL mandates that say if a gun is used in a crime, even if it wasn't fired you go to prison for 10 years. No plea bargaining it down, no immunity, nothing...gun equals 10 years. If in the commision of a crime you kill someone with a gun you get a FEDERALLY mandated sentence of the death penalty. No plea bargaining, no immunity, nothing...murder equals death penalty. It makes no difference if your state is a wimp state like mine and has no death penalty it would be a FEDERALLY mandated sentence.
Until someone takes an approach like that all new gun laws are simplistic, idiotic feel good bull shit that accomplish nothing to deter crime and infringe on the rights of already law abiding citizens.
*snort* You owe me a Pepsi.![]()

And where do the black market guns come from? Or the ones smuggled from other countries? 100% of the guns in criminal hands were at one point legal.
I would suppose you could say that. Although if you look at rouge governements or terrorist organizations selling guns on the black market that is hardly the same as someone attempting to steal my guns from my gun safe.
I can't go one month without reading the Orlando paper and reading about a gun store getting robbed. Think about that for a second. A gun store. The place with the most guns. If I was a criminal that would be the last place I robbed, bceause I would think the owner would be well armed. Doesn't stop them.
Wow. I would love to see those same guys try to rob the gun store I patronize. They would either be on the floor waiting for the cops because they gave up or on the floor waiting for EMS or the coroner. These guys do not fuck around. They all carry and have other weapons behind the counter ready to go to if need be.
Last month I read a story about a CWP in Sanford, FL leaving her gun in a school parking lot. She shouldn't have had the gun on school grounds in the first place, but to leave it just lying on the ground...c'mon. Oh, and no charges were filed, so as far as anyone knows she still holds her CWP.
She is without a doubt clueless and shouldn't have a carry permit. The fact that the law did nothing surprises me on two counts. 1) She is obviously stupid and this shouldn't have a gun. 2) A gun on school grounds is a violation of the law here and would have serious repercussions. I won't defend her or try and make excuses. She needs the law to come down on her.
