A thing I confess that I dislike is this concept that everything has to be couched as 'dominated' or 'destroyed' or 'crushed'. Or pick whatever aggressive descriptor you like. I get these fundraising texts that say this stuff all the time, and it feels like such a degradation of the importance of our politics.

Harris did a great job for a hostile interview, in my opinion. She didn't back down, she sounded both thoughtful and authoritative. Those are good qualities in a leader. Baier, in my opinion, stepped beyond pressing as a journalist and sounded often like he was trying to badger Harris in an attempt to rattle her. Personally, I think that happens far too often in our media environment, and it does a disservice to all of us. Honestly, if you listen to the Univision Town Hall Trump did, those voters asked far better, more concise than I heard in either debate or in a majority of the forums the candidates have been in. Of course, those just revealed that Trump rambles and bloviates, in my opinion, but the fact that we're talking about who 'beat' who in an interview is a fucking travesty.
