Tomorrow's class: crafting believable citations when making up evidence to support your argument.

Now play nice with the other kids at recess, and then we'll all have a nice nap time before story hour.

Actually, crois means believe (and yes I know that think can also mean believe not just reason but I figured if we were getting a lesson we should be as accurate as possible. No?) It also means cross (as in curcifixion, not angry).

It does seem the kind of mistake one who doesn't read or write the language very often, yet is familiar with the sounds and spelling rules might make.

Like a Canadian... or a Minnesotan. i just started learning French and might easily have made the same mistake. Thanks for the lesson. My regular teacher is on vacation. i miss her.

R is as fluent in French as are, well, native French speakers. She's studied the language for more than 10 years. She's done graduate level studies of French literature that were taught in French which also, of course, utilized books written in the language. French-speakers can't tell she's not a native.

I'm really gettin' the idea that you wish this forum was all about Dom/mes and that all subs should just stay quietly in the corner awaiting the command to speak, should it ever be given. Quite frankly, if that is case around here, I'd simply walk away. I had at least thought you gave credit to subs who could opine with some intelligence. But after one of your posts, I'm beginning to doubt even that. Hell, if you have a major bitch about the subs on the board, why not take it to the "Dom Lounge"? Isn't that what that place is for? Why this thread?

And sometimes I'll write a direct, serious note, like this one.

And sometimes I'll get pissy and blow a gasket.

And then I'll go back and edit it later.

But mostly, I figure if you can't say what you really think on a free-speech internet porn site.....well, where can you say what you think?
