What Are You Listening to Now 7.0

Deadlines suck balls, so this song helps me kick some ass. I know it’s Kanye, and he’s all kinds of yuck right now, but his songs:

Kanye - Stronger

Lesser known album from Stevie W, but this song is beautiful:

Stevie Wonder - Black Orchid - Journey through the secret life of plants

Taeyeon, "When We Were Young," from Begin Again 3. Taeyeon in Berlin.

If you've never heard of Taeyeon, enjoy.... this is from 2019, part of a South Korean reality tv show called "Begin Again", where musicians who are popular / well-known stars in South Korea travel overseas, to places where no one knew much of anything about them, and hold busking events. This one's from Taeyeon in Berlin. She also busked in Amsterdam in this series.

Taeyeon debuted as a member of K-pop girl group Girls' Generation in August 2007. They went on to become one of the best-selling artists in South Korea and one of the most popular K-pop groups worldwide. In 2015 Taeyeon went out on her own - and she's one of the best-selling solo artists in South Korea.

A relatively new-ish singer songwriter, Celeste. Elton John is a fan, which is quite telling of her natural talent. Her take on love is complex, messy and honest, so much raw emotion. Reminds me of Sade/Amy W:

Celeste - Both Sides of the Moon (Live)

This is the most moving version of Sinatra’s song I’ve ever heard.

Ben l’Oncle Soul - I’ve got you under my skin

Miracle of Sound is one artist I follow. There's few pieces of his that I don't enjoy, but this one hits the same as his Cú Chulainn piece. Right up there.

Nothing like live jamming.

Toshiki Soejima (feat. Kyohei Ariga) - Just the two of us

Btw, if you like Toshiki’s groove, check out his Kimama Session. It’s the bomb.
