A synthwave remix of "Song For The Departed" (or "Intensive Care" for those who got the early demo). It's frighteningly simple to take the MIDI data and put a whole new spin on a song. Took me less than three hours. Granted, the drums are fucking lazy, but I didn't feel like doing a complete multritrack recording of my drum box. And sorry for the really dark ending...

Robby Steinhardt, the original violinist and second lead vocalist for Kansas, finished his first ever solo album right before he died in July.

The album, We're not in Kansas anymore, came out yesterday. It's only available through his label. Aaarrrrggggghhhhhh!

A strong showing. I'll be getting this regardless, but I have hope that it might be better than the last Ayreon. Tony Martin is an excellent get. I loved his stint with Black Sabbath.

What? He's a musician now? (Oh, wait - you weren't referring to the recently-retired world-class German cyclist. :) )
