I listened to these romantic songs when I wrote my new story. My characters hear them as they make love

'Everybody Loves Somebody' Dean Martin
'It's Been A Long Long Time' Bing Crosby
'Dream a Little Dream of Me' Doris Day
'Embraceable You' Nat King Cole
'The Way You Look Tonight' Tony Bennett
'Welcome To My World' Jim Reeves

Star One - Fate Of Man

Well, it's a typical Arjen Lucassen song. If you're generous, it's his signature handwriting. If not, he's blatantly copy-pasting his own riffs. Anyway, this is quite a banger with some amazing vocal acrobatics. Still looking forward to the new album, but with expectations tempered.

Now I can tell my better half that it's no shame to shamelessly recycle song ideas. Even the pros do it. :)

I'll give it a spin!

As with all Wilson I liked it a lot but 'The Raven That Refused to Sing and Other Stories' and his Porcupine Tree material is superior IMHO.

Loved this.

I need to get used to it - I wasn't impressed after the first spin, but in fairness, it was in the background while I was working. I owe it a serious listen :)

Hope you are healing well after the bike mishap. You and yours have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving.

Doing well, many thanks. Those injuries are all completely healed.

I hope you're doing well, and back in the book store!

Green Carnation : Leaves of Yesteryear

First spin, and I'm enjoying it. They've gone back to their earlier sound - I wouldn't say this is as good as "Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness" (which was excellent) - but it's pretty good so far.
